    Editorial Review

Yes, she did. Even if the title track's chorus is a blatant rip-off of the Barbra Streisand/Barry Gibb duet, "Woman in Love," it's still darn catchy--much more than anything from 1999's ...Baby One More Time (save the album's fab title tune, of course). With the rest of the 12 songs here, the teen queen pretty much delivers a remake of her last album. Songs like "What U See (Is What U Get)" and "Stronger" show Swedish songwriter-producer Max Martin in his element, churning out another and yet another slick smash with staccato synth beats and heavily overproduced melodies. But even at his strongest points, he can't bury Britney's voice far enough below the virtual guitars--and it's obvious this girl ain't no Celine. Except for the horrendous ballads, however, that doesn't make a stitch of a difference. The pop songs have all the qualities of memorable tunes--the choruses are clear and catchy, the beats are bouncy enough to make you shake your bonbon, and the singer is about as randy for love as Austin Powers is for a shag. Edit out the low-water mark--when Britney mutilates the Rolling Stones' misogynist anthem, "Satisfaction," by oversexualizing it with inserted "uh"s ("I can't get no, uh, satisfaction")--and you've got a hit-packed album that's as guilty a pleasure as reruns of Beverly Hills 90210. --Heidi Sherman ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Britney Spears: Oops!...I Did It Again (2000)
Britney became a big star with the incredible debut album ...Baby One More Time (1999). Now, a year after the release of her debut, Britney brings us her second album OOPS!... I DID IT AGAIN. Britney knew what she was doing when she recorded this album. She knew she was going to get a huge response with the release of this album. I bought the album the day it was released. I listened to the entire album the night that I bought it and I was more than impressed.

    OOPS!... I DID IT AGAIN
The album's title track and the album's first single. This song was destined to become a hit. In this one, Britney tells her boyfriend that she just played him. She tells him that she's not into him and that she's "not that innocent". The video takes place on Mars, where Britney takes up a modified VANESSA KENNSINGTON (from AUSTIN POWERS: INTERNATIONAL MAN OF MYSTERY) look. Instead of being a brunette, whose hair goes down to the middle of the back, Britney keeps her natural blonde look and adds extensions that go down to the middle of her back. Instead of wearing a black leather jumpsuit with the zipper opened enough to show cleevage, Britney wears a red leather jumpsuit with no openings whatsoever. In September of 2000, Britney was scheduled to perform at the 2000 MTV VMAs. She started her performance by singing a part of (I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION. She was wearing a black suit with silver glittered stripes. She descended down a staircase and broke into the fast part of the song. As she began the song in the second verse, she ripped off the outfit, revealing a sequence bikini top with sequence pants to match. After the quick, but sexy costume change, Britney broke into Oops!. This was the first of many very sexy live performances from Britney.

    STRONGER
The album's third single. Out of all the songs on the album, this one is my favorite. In this song, Britney says that her boyfriend treated her like crap and how he always thought that she would never make it on her own. But she tells him that she's a lot stronger than he is and that she too can survive without him. The video is one of Britney's best without a doubt. The music video takes place in a dark, gothic futuristic city and a futuristic club. When the video starts, the song doesn't start right away. The video starts off with Britney in the futuristic club. She is standing front of her boyfriend, who is with another woman. Britney looks at him angrily and says, "Whatever". That's when the song starts up. For the club scenes and the scenes where Britney is driving, she is wearing this black long-sleeved stitch-like half-top and a black skirt that is short going across her thighs and becomes longer when it goes down her right thigh. For the scenes when Britney is dancing with the chair, she wears a similar black half-top, but with black pants, with pom-pom like bell-bottoms.

DON'T GO KNOCKIN' ON MY DOOR
    An okay song.

    (I CAN'T GET NO) SATISFACTION
This song was originally made famous by THE ROLLING STONES. But their version, how do I say this, sucks. Britney had enough common sense to make it sound better. This one talks about how her boyfriend gives her everything and she's still not satisfied. It's a remake that no one should ever dare to miss.

DON'T LET ME BE THE LAST TO KNOW
The album's fourth & final single. This song was written by Robert J. Lange, Shania Twain's husband. For this one, Britney decided to take a break from the usual break-up tunes and decided to go with a love song. In this one, she is talking to the guy who is really in love with her and she tells him that if it's all true, she wants him to let her be the first to know, not the last. The video showed Britney in her most sexy image. In the video, she wears a white bikini top and jean shorts that are a lot shorter than we had expected.

WHAT U SEE (IS WHAT U GET)
This is not a break-up song. It's a casual love song, but with the wagging finger. Britney tells her boyfriend that she doesn't care about how he is having a problem with her way of dressing. She tells him that "what he sees is what he's getting".

    LUCKY
The album's second single. A song that totally separates itself from the rest of the album. This one talks about an actress named LUCKY who is indeed very lucky. She has everything: Money, Fans, More Fame than anybody ever bargained for, the whole pack. But she is not happy. How could someone like LUCKY not be happy? It is because she has no life. She has no time for herself or for her family. She has no time to find her true love. In the video, Britney plays a dual role: herself and... LUCKY!

    ONE KISS FROM YOU
    Great.

    WHERE YOU ARE
One of the most prettiest ballads I've ever heard.

I CAN'T MAKE YOU LOVE ME
    Okay.

    DEAR DIARY
This is the first song that Britney had ever written. It talks about Britney, of course, writing in her Diary. In her diary she writes that she saw a particular guy that is definitely attracted to Britney and Britney is in every way attracted to him, but she doesn't know how to approach him.

This is definitely Britney's best album and as many times as I heard it, I never get tired of it. This album should be owned by every Britney fan around the world. No exceptions.

5-0 out of 5 stars Ooops!!! I Tried To Convince The World ICould Sing!!!
This is a very sorry excuse for an album. As usual I can't understand a word that Britney is trying to sing. This is what happens when you get a good agent and Publicity Machine behind you. All you need is a blonde dye job , some well produced music videos and then you can easily con the world into believing that you are a Musical Phenomena.Thankfully in ten years time Britney will be remebered on the same par as Debbie Gbson. Debbie who?

2-0 out of 5 stars Oops! I made the same album again!
After the huge succes of her debut album ...Baby One More Time Britney already with the title sais what this album is about: It's more of the same. More teen pop. You actually could stick BOMT and OIDIA to eachother and you wouldn't even notice it were 2 different albums. Her first album had more variation of songs then this one. Most ballads are at the end of the album, because Britney is so bad at ballads. That was a smart choice. The songs are pretty short and the lyrics are all the time about love, letting down and dancing. The order of the songs is often the same an the bridge is often the melody sung with a different melody. However, the melodies are often great and the beats too. The album includes 3 phonecalls of Britney!

The titel track is danceable and has weird lyrics. The melody is one of the best of the album. The bridge is original. It features a talking scene between Britney and some guy. Stronger has good lyrics. britney sais she is independent and is the opposite of Baby One More Time. It is a more tougher Britney. In Where Are You Now britney proves she can sing, it features a scream of Brit that lasts long. But the ballad gets boring soon.
britney hasen't really got a voice to sing Dear Diary, a cute lovesong. It's at the end of the album and is a calm song. The album features a cover: I Can't Get No SatisFaction. The song starts slow but soon the beats join Britney. There isn't a lot different then the original version, a useless cover.

Lucky is about a girl that is famous and rich, she has everything but still she cries. It's a very kiddish song. What You See Is What You Get looks A LOT like OIDIA and BOMT, you could make 1 song of these 3 songs! They have excactly the same beats! Can't Make You Love Me is a good faster song with the best beats of the whole album and also one of the best melodies. Girl In The Mirror, Don't let Me be The Last To Know and When Your Eyes say it are not bad ballads. The problem is they can easially get boring. That is the problem of this album, you can listen to it a couple of times and really like it. But because the songs look a lot like eachother and the songs are simple, it soon gets boring.

Warning: The melodies stay in your head, which is the strongest point of this album. ... Read more

I have seen products of this type in our local club store. But I wanted to be able to carry it in my pocket. That particular one was almost the size of my home phone, this one fits into my pants pocket! It's about the size of a bic lighter!

I took it out the other night at a cocktail party and everybody there had to try it.I am sure that Amazon was inundated with orders for it from the folks at that party alone. One drawback is that you have to let the alcohol in your mouth dissipate to give a true reading. It requires that you wait a bit to use it after your last drink. But the peace of mind that comes from having it is well worth it... ... Sick of making frequent trips from the garden to the tool shed? Tired of constantly bending down to pick up tools from the ground? Keep your extra equipment handy with this practical pruner sheath from Fiskars. The well-constructed sheath's outer pocket is a plastic mesh that allows the moisture to drain from dew-soaked pruners, improving your grip. The inner pocket is large and deep enough to hold a second pair of clippers or, perhaps, your gardening gloves, sunglasses, or even a cellular telephone. 3-0 out of 5 stars Okay, but not great
I find the clip on this item is not too secure. The pouch is large, which is nice if you have large clippers. But mine are the same size as perhaps 95% of those on the market and they tend to fall out when kneeling in the garden.I purchased this item almost two years ago, and while it's still in great shape, I find I use a bucket caddy now to store my clippers with my other tools.

5-0 out of 5 stars Never lose your pruner again
Before I bought this I averaged one new pair of pruners every six months because I would misplace them. God only knows where they all went, I sure don't. In the last two years I have had the same rose pruner thanks to the sheath. Over my life this will pay for its self many times over.

4-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Sheath For Other Things Too?
Isn't it a pain when you have to run around your garden just to get the right tools for the right job? Wish you could just save time, and have the tool you need with you at all times? For delicate home garden jobs likemanaging your flowers, you'll need this Pruner Sheath. This is probably forserious home gardeners that spend lots of their time in the garden takingcare of their precious plants and flowers. I like this sheath by Fiskarsbecause of the sheer size! It's very, very roomy! The incredible amount ofroom for a pruner sheath is well worth it.

Besides liking the amount ofroom availible on this product, I also liked it because it keeps yourpruner by your side at all times, and when you really need it. This sheathholds most standard or bypass pruners, which is great. On the sheath isalso a clip in which you can mount it on yout belt, waist, pocket, andother places on you. Also, there is a secondary pocket to hold smalleritems, maybe like repair tools or nails. The construction is of very highquality and durable woven polyester. The material also keeps your prunervery dry and easy to grip onto as well. Everything is just smart aboutthis, from the room, to the pockets and materials. Definitely for theserious gardener! ... For spreading olive oil evenly on bruschetta, focaccia, and grilled or roasted vegetables, and for spraying muffin and cake pans with vegetable oil, this dispenser is a nifty tool. A plastic cap underneath the sprayer's top twists off so the sprayer can be half-filled (1/3 cup) with oil. Inside the top is a plastic tube that fits over the spray nozzle. Push the top up and down to pump air pressure into the canister. Then spray for 10 seconds and pump up again. It's simple, ingenious, and practical. With its cap on, the sprayer stands just 7-5/8 inches high, so it tucks away easily on any countertop. Made of satin-finish stainless steel with a black-band accent, it's sleek as well as utilitarian. --Fred Brack ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Save Your Money
I have owned a Misto for a while and, as others have, I noticed the way the quality of the spray deteriorated over time so that you would only get a stream of oil, instead of a mist. Well, this morning, my Misto exploded while I was using it to make pancakes (periodically spraying the pan during the process). Luckily, no one was hurt, but there is a dent in my kitchen ceiling where the top hit it, upon being expelled from the base with great force. I would estimate the BANG that accompanied the explosion was 85-90 decibels. I will definitely not buy another Misto based on today's explosion, but even before this, I was rather ho-hum about the product anyway. My advice: save your money.

4-0 out of 5 stars Harry Potter Stationery Kit
This stationery kit is absolutely fun.I ordered one for my 11 year old son from Scolastic Books at school, and both my boys loved it so much I have spent the last two hours online trying to find it to order one for my 9 year old! Both my 11 and 9 year old boys have written letters, and can't wait to write more.Never thought that would be possible.I just hope they can come out with a re-order for the writing paper and envelopes, or put them on a cd you could order for the computer. The lightning stamp is too cute, and even has its own little place in the box.The photo album is just right for a kid to put little pictures in to share with their friends at school,we already put some in it, and my son can't wait until tomorrow. And my boys just love the address book, they came and got mine and copied addresses out of it for their own. This set is just too much fun for kids (please remember it is for kids, not adults, kids letters are much shorter), and for all you get, it is a good price.I intend on ordering as many as I can.

1-0 out of 5 stars Utterly Disappointing
I wish that I'd read a few reviews before buying this item. Maybe I would have saved myself some grief and money.
The packaging was good on this box and it caught my eye directly but the contents were not at all as described in the write up on the back.
The stickers were thin and cheap. The paper also, was very thin and too short for any practicle letter writing. Most disappointing however, was the lightning bolt stamp. It was more a broken line than anything else. It's too small and faint to use and plainly speaking is quite a joke.
I love Harry Potter and have bought a lot of excellent items, but this was definitely not one of them.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fun and practical
Using this stationary is fun and I am WAY out of the intended demographic.Even grandmothers can use this handy kit, and it brings a bit of enjoyment and wizardry to our correspondence. Paper - 25 sheets!! Envelopes - 12?? Could be more, a rather awkward brown calligraphy pen, and the best of all - 32 Harry Potter stickers. I love it. Not babyish, and a bit wacky - can be used as a lap table because the kit is its own writing suface and the stickers and pen and envelopes hide with your postage stamps in a drawer - the whole thing is the size of a Harry Potter book. ...
