Flawed tool
I have both the Accuset brad nailer and 1/4" crown nailer.They have both failed do to the driver piston not retracting fully, thus not firing the next fastener in the clip.In additon , all of the screw fasteners on the tools were over torqued from the factory, andsomecould not be removed for servicing without stripping.The tools are also heavy compared to the competition.Not recommended.

A very good buy.
The Accuset brad nailer has served me well. I have put in a fair amount of time with it now.
There is only one reason the nailer came down to a 4 star rating.
The soft tip that prevents you from marring woods is very flimsy. It fell off within the first three hours of use and as the tip is completely useless if not solidly secured, it is easier to use the nailer without it and simply sand out any marks that the tip leaves behind.
Otherwise it functions as advertised. My main concern in purchase was I wanted a brad nailer that would drive one and a half inch brads. This nailer does the job without a problem.
One excellent feature is that if you want to change over from one size brad to another before you have finished the strip of nails you are using, no problem. Just open the cassette and make the change. This is not true with all nailers.
The nailer comes with an excellent case, oil and safety glasses. I have put about 20 hours of continuous (?120-hours intermittent)use on this nailer now and see no signs of additional problems.
I would buy it again.

This is the first brad nailer I have ever owned and I am very pleased with it. It is comfortable to handle,light and easy to use. Does its job well.
This is my first brad nailer/stapler, but I've been very pleased with it. It's made of quality materials and feels very substantial in your hands. I've fired tons of brads and staples through it and have never had a single jam or problem at all. It's really a job to use. I would consider myself pretty picky about my tools. I can usually point out a few things about each of my tools that a don't like, but I really can't find any big problems with this one. My only real complaint is that I have a hard time firing into some soft woods (like cedar) and not leaving a small notch (mine did not come with a plastic tip). Also, I've heard that even if you do buy a kit which includes the plastic tip, you'll probably end up losing it anyway. Generally, though, I use brads in places which aren't visible on the finished product, so this is a minor concern for me. I was able to buy my A2N125 on clearance for a reduced price which had no tip, case, oil, or safety glasses. The boxed deal comes with the plastic tip which would render one of my complaints above moot.

Very Nice little compressor
This is a great little compressor from Senco's discontinued line of Accuset tools . I spoke with Senco and they informed me that some of the Accuset line will be rebadged as Senco , hopefully this would be one of their included picks .

I like this compressor because of its relatively light weight [39 pds. or so] and its compactness and streamlined shape.Most of the bits that would tend to get knocked off during loadind and moving are enclosed in the plastic shrouding around the motor , and the air chuck is sensibly and securly mounted on top so pulling by the air hose shouldn't break it off as has happened with other compressors I've owned .The shrouding I believe also helps to quiet things down a bit , however in a small bedroom with no furniture and hardwood floors I would not call this unit quiet . Keeping in mind that it is oil less [which means they use teflon coated rings in stead of an oil bath] I would say it falls in the middle or slightly below for a decible rating of compressors of this type . In other words it is highly acceptable decible wise. Only the Thomas industries line of compressors could truly be called quiet from what I've seen.

As for qaulity and performance , I had to replace 4 rooms of carpeting about 9 years ago due to a "leak free" oil bath compressor so I switched to these oiless types and have found them to be flawless and I've never looked back. This 2061 also puts out a surprising 4.1 cfm @90psi . We use it exclusively on those 3rd floor remodels for running all our guns , it's just to easy to carry not to. Obviously you wouldn't run a large framing crew with it , then you'd have a gas powered compressor. By the way the recovery time is 8.5 seconds not 85 as the spec above says . Actually mine seems closer to 8 seconds . Only reason I gave it a 4 rating is because things could always be quieter but this is better than most models. It still uses a 3450 rpm motor to get the air output/low 14 amp draw . Other machines sometimes have 1750 rpm motors which are quieter but pump less air. Hope this helps.
