ALL PRO TOOLS - beats pricing on Bosch
While waiting for a special sale on Bosch Tools in Tool Crib, I was re-directed to All pro-Tools.It appears that they are beating your price of $399.99 down to 349.21.

Also, I bought the Plung Router for $229., they have it for 219. same same.

What can you do about this.

NO boundarys ,NO equal,BRUTE TOUGH.
I got this kit about a week ago.I am satisfied.The drill has 475 foot pounds of torque(the most in its class),2 speeds,15 clutch setings,A 1/2"racheting chuck,uni body powertrain,steel reinforced collar,dura-shield exterior housing and,plenty of POWER.It will take a 1/2"masonry bit through 21/2"of concrete in less than 2 minutes.I can put a 3"holesaw on and drill through a 1"piece of red oak in a snap.If you push to hard it will stall,but eventually you'll learn how much pressure you can put on it.It handles wood and metal with no problem. The saw has plenty of torque and power.It cuts 2x4's 4x4's in just seconds. It will even cut dense hard maple with out stopping.I chose this kit over others because it ofered more features ,and so I wouldn't have to buy an electric drill and saw as well.I would recommend Bosch over the others any day.From what my experience and other reviews have told me ,Bosch lives up to their name. ... THIS SANDER ROCKS...COMPARED TO OTHERS
I PURCHASED THIS AFTER MY DEWALT VS 5" QUIT. AFTER USING THE BOSCH, I WISH I NEVER PURCHASED THE DEWALT! THIS IS SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY. I GETS THE JOB DONE MUCH FASTER AND IS NEAR DUSTLESS!(THE DEWALT LEFT A CLOUD OF DUST IN MY SHOP EVEN THOUGH I BLEW IT OUT FREQUENTLY. IF YOU'RE COMPARING THE TWO SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY THE BOSCH...YOU WON'T BE SORRY!! IT WILL SAVE YOU SO MUCH MORE TIME THAN THE DEWALT IN ITS PERFORMANCE AND CLEAN UP!! WELL WORTH IT!!!

A wonderful orbital sander
I purchased this orbital sander about a year ago, when I installed my wood floors. I absolutely loved it, and still do. It is quite the little workhorse. Just make sure you get the proper sand paper for it. It shreds the adhesive variety.

it's a wood hog if you can get the discs to stay on......
I was really amazed at how smooth the operation is and the amount of wood you can hog out with this sander.
You can bear down on it and it won't bog, it has plenty of power.
The only problem I have is that the velcro pad doesn't hold the discs very tightly, even new out of the box.
I have a friend that uses them for production sanding and in about 4 months has gone thru 15 or more new backer pads on the 2 3725's he uses every day, the discs just start flying across the room.
I still have my old 3283 VSRO model and the pads on it grip the discs alot better.
This is a problem that Bosch needs to address, so that the sander will truly be a 5 star model. ... Read more

Handy beyond belief!
I have lusted for a kit such as this for some time, waffling between brands (Makita, DeWalt, Bosch), and couldn't bring myself to spend the money for a quality system.I'm glad I waited for this Bosch package.I have used it for three months now and wouldn't trade it for anything.I still have a 14 volt Makita cordless drill that I like because it is lighter for some jobs, but the extra torque of 18 volts and the feel of the Bosch makes tough screw jobs a breeze.As a bonus, you get the cordless recip saw with tooless blade change which is very handy.I have used it for cutting sewer drainage pipe with minimal digging, trimming limbs in trees with an aggressive blade, plus it is so nice for high altitude remodeling jobs.I don't do as much remodeling work as I used to, but I carry a drill in the truck always, as there is always a use for in a rural area.I feel you truly get what you pay for when it comes to tools.There is nothing I hate worse than getting to a job and not have the tools I need in working order.

Bosch 1638 Spiracut Saw
I have owned the Bosch 1638 Spiracut saw for over a year now, and it has proven to be a very useful and durable tool. The Bosch Spiracut saw is exactly the same as the original RotoZip spiral-cut saw. It's great for making cutouts in wood, drywall, Plexiglas, ceramic wall tile and cement board. Its compact size makes it ideal for cutting in electrical boxes in tight, cramped areas. Although this tool is not ideally suited for fine finish work, with the proper bit for the material being cut, it does make a very clean cut and is relatively easy to control, but can very quickly get off the mark and go where it wants if your not paying close enough attention. I prefer this style cutout tool with it's long, thin body and no handle compared to the newer style RotoZip with the detachable handle, mainly because for the type of work I use the tool for, the handle would always seem to get in the way and also throw of the tools balanced feel, so I would never use it.
I also have the RotoZip with the ZipMate grinding and sanding attachment that will also fit the Bosch, but since there is no provision for a handle, I wouldn't recommend using it on this tool. Besides, if you really want to grind or sand something, a small 4-1/2 or 5-inch right angle grinder is a much better choice anyway. ... Read more

review of 3850 drill
Sorry that this is not a review of this drill but a spot on Bosch's good name. I have a 3850 18 volt drill that has had low use in 2 years and both batteries are shot. I wrote to Bosch about this and they returned my message thanking me for my interest in Bosch tools. I do not think that was what I wanted to hear.This is the 3 rd Bosch battery drill I have owned and first that is NO GOOD!I have a 9.6 that the orginal batteries lasted about 10 years and it is now on second set that will out perform the 18 V by about 3 to one.I had a 7.2 V that outlasted the availabilty of new batteries. It was a great tool that got loads of use.I have several other Bosch tools but this piece of junk just might end my buying any more of these tools at all. Take hede when considering their tools.

Great hammerdrill except for one crucial design flaw
I was at first very happy with this hammerdrill. It's well built and comes with a case & two batteries. It also has a little clip on the handle to hold a screwdriver bit - brilliant. But when I started to drill into concrete the problems began. It drilled the holes as well as the Milwaukee I had borrowed from a friend, but apparently it has a design flaw that allows concrete dust to get inside and cause the speed control mechanism to get stuck. So when I tried to switch between the two speed settings, I wasn't able to push the switch "all the way" in either direction. That meant the chuck couldn't "get in gear" which means the motor turns but the chuck doesn't. So now the drill is totally useless. It's really too bad because I know Bosch makes great tools... ...
