Brittle, Bent and Expensive
This is an expensive set of drill bits, and indicated that they were of a high quality, but as it turns out I am not overly impressed. First I found the smaller bits extremely easy to snap, sure you have to be careful with smaller bits... but these broke easily. Then some others were just fine. The metal index box is almost as important to me as the bits since it is what allows me to make the correct selection in a fast and timely manner, as well as protecting the bits when not in use and allowing me to get the right bit back into the proper place for use next time.

While the sizing is fine, the box itself is nothing to get excited about, and if you drop it once count on the racks flying out of the box all over the shop floor. Again... something that would not be a big deal... but this is the top of the line and I thought I would get a little bit better box.

The final straw was when I used the 1/2" bit, the largest in the set and I was needing an extremely precise hole... and I didn't get it (seating a bearing) I took the bit out and it rolled across my tablesaw top and was as crooked as can be.

This was NOT caused by any fall, drop, or misuse. It was the first time I had used it, I was drilling into soft plastic, and this is a 1/2" piece of steel/titanium. I couldn't bend if I tried. I wish I could say that this was a good set, some of the bits ARE good, but no way I can say that it is worth the price. Powerhouse
A very well built tool.Just what we expected from Bosch. I have quite a few years on mine with no trouble whatsoever. If you need this kind of cutting capacity , you can't go wrong with this unit. I recommend a wet/dry diamond blade for it if you will be cutting concrete. Otherwise you won't have a consistent depth of cut. If you're having trouble finding cordless tools that packenough punch, give this 24-volt drill and reciprocating saw combo kitfrom Bosch a try. Wow! What a recip saw!
Until last week I didn't even know that this was available.

If Bosch has their way, a day will soon come when a full-featured, powerful cordless option will be available for any tool a worker needs. This planer is one such example. It's a full-sized and feature-packed cordless version of Bosch's popular corded planer. It offers a 3-1/4-inch planing width and is depth adjustable to 1/16 of an inch. The 14.4-volt motor spins the blades at 13,000 rpm. The planer uses a ratcheting depth knob for quick and simple adjustments, and in a system unique to Bosch planers, chip ejection can go to the left or the right as needed. It has an electronically balanced single-blade design to reduce drag for a longer run time and smooth finish. Bosch cordless planer
Bosch has definitely brought the cream to the top with this tool. It leaves its corded cousin behind, the sole plate has multiple v-cuts for chamfering extremely easily with this tool. I am beginning to build a corded Bosch museum, each advance in cordless technology makes corded versions less useful. My next wish on the list is for a multi voltage charging station, that would accomadate about 3 batteries and free up two outlets for me. The blades earn a 5, the assortment earns a 4...
In my humble opinion, Bosch makes great jigsaws and great jigsaw blades.I bought this kit right after I got my Bosch barrel grip jigsaw, thinking that a good assortment was just the key.Its now several years later and I long ago used, dulled, and discarded the blades from this set that suit my type of work and the rest sit collecting dust.

My advice is:buy Bosch blades, but only buy a couple at a time until you know which sizes suit you and/or the style of work you do most.Then you can buy larger quantities of just those sizes!
