Best lefty
This is by far the best left-handed holster I have used.The thick padding of the holster keeps the drill securly in place even without the strap.The bit pockets are very handy for pencils(or even screws) as well as bits.Bucket Boss somehow made this durable, comfortable, holster better and cheaper than any other holster I've seen.

Quality Bucket Boss Drill Holster
The strap to hold you drill in has only one position and it needs more to hold all drills securely. A strap with velcro would solve this problem.

Quick Draw
This holster is handy anytime or anywhere you do lots of drilling or driving. It's also great when you're on a ladder and don't have enough hands. It saves time by keeping your tools right there where you need them. I've used it with cordless and corded tools when hanging electrical boxes and running wire through studs, hanging drywall, and siding work. I like the snapping strap to secure the tool when you're busy with something else. It has slots to hold extra bits and extensions, too. However, I found it works best with smaller drills. I tried this holster on my belt with my big 19.2V PorterCable hammer/drill/driver and it about jerked the pants right off me. It wasn't quite big enough to keep that heavy tool from tipping back and out of the holster. Instead, I use it with a large leather tool belt to put around my middle and that worked out much better by balancing the drill while it hangs. At any rate, I now have no trouble with trying to find a place to set my drills and drivers when doing working in difficult places. And the holster is good for holding other tools too. Bucket Boss Contractor's Portfolio
This portfolio is not recommended for normal use, let alone contractor use.The pockets inside are too tight to carry pens and such in the pockets available.Additionally, the entire case is pretty flimsy and is a pain to carry.

wrong year
I ordered the portfolio for my brother as a gift in the year of 2002 and the calendar inside was for the year 2000.He loves the gift, but I have no idea where to get a calendar for him for the right year.Something I should not have to worry about when making a purchase.

Multipurpose!
I bought 2 of the bucket boss organizers for Father's Day gifts.I was very pleased with the quality of the material and space in the pockets: the only problem was the description of the item does not tell you that the 5 gallonbucket is not included....but the gifts were a big hit.....my Father uses it for plumbing tools and Father-in-law uses it on his boat for crabbing/fishing essentials!

One of those "I wish I had thought of that"
I own an aquariummaintenance company and this thing works like a champ.

I can carry all my nets, scrubbers, air tubing, filter sponges, flourescent light starters, etc... in the bucket and still put a little water in the bottom to transport the fish!

Not your typical usage, I admit, but the item is well made and functional for just about any use.

What took me so long?!
I can't believe I waited so long to get this Bucket Boss! Rose gardening is ever so much easier with all my tools in one place, easily transportable from bush to bush.I added the seat to the top, so now my back doesn't bother me so much....and I can stay in the garden longer! The axe is great. The blade is very sharp and cuts great. But the axe is too top heavey. If there was a soild handel on it, the axe would be excelent because with the hallow handle it slips out of your hand and tendsto bounce. What A Joke
This bag looks like a winner but the one I got lasted only two months the handle and sholder strap are held on the top of the front flap by some thread that is sewn in a large rivet an staples the hole conection point is less than 2 inches. Two weeks ago while walking in Boston to a service call the shoulder strap let go when the bag hit the concret the sound told me it all. My laptop screen was toast as well as the hard drive which now won't start up.If you buy this make sure the load is light

and check the handle often.

Durable Bag with Tons of Pockets
This bag is stuffed full of pockets.Both sides of the bag have access to pockets.One side has a thin, document-size pocket and 10 differently sized pockets. The 'Velcro' flap at the top flips up and there is a zipperaround three sides to allow the panel to open completely for easy access. The main compartment is open, and there is only a thin document-size pocketon the back.My laptop fits inside, but the lack of padding makes menervous.In front of the main compartment, there is the most useful bunchof pockets--2 of similar size (one with a 'Velcro' flap) fit my Palmperfectly, even in its rather bulky case.The crowning touches on this bagare the pockets on the side. PRO GATEMOUTH JR
THE GATEMOUTH JR. IS AN EXCELLENT BAG.I PUT MINE TO THE TEST IN A HARSH INDUSTRIAL ENVIRONMENT AND IT SEEMS TO BE HOLDING UP PRETTY WELL SO FAR.I DID HOWEVER MANAGE TO GET A HOLE IN ONE OF THE FRONT POCKETS BY PUTTING A PAIR OF IDEAL CRIMPERS IN IT.I LIKE THE BAG VERY MUCH AND HAVE IT SO FULL OF STUFF, I AM THINKING ABOUT UPGRADING TO A PRO SUPER GATEMOUTH.

Best Toolbag I own
With loads of pockets and a large mouth opening this tool bag is outstnading in every way.I keep my cordless drill inside with an assortment of hand tools outside in the various sized pockets.

The sewing is strong and the handles are firmly attached and after three months of use there is little if any wear on the bag.

I'll definately buy others from this line.

THE BEST EVER MADE TOOL BAG AND ORGANIZER
This is with out a doubt the best tool bag that an electrician can own!!!! Tools are all stored on the inside providing ultimate security. Every tool has its own place, and anything that is missing is quickly identified. The removable tool board can be put in any location. The large compartment holds all my misc. plus the shoulder strap is comfortable. The handles do not dig into your hands when the bag is being carried. The extra pouch is a priceless companion. I recentlly lost mine to a fire, and am begging Bucket Boss Inc. to bring it back. My tools were so organized I could reach without looking. I was able to get more work done, because I could carry all my tools to my work area, and not have to go back to a tool chest or gang box. Travel all over the world.
I have had my Rolling Gatemouth for about 2yrs now and love it. I fly all over the country and the world and it has been a god sent. Airlines are tough on luggage but it has held up well.

I'm a Tower Rigger and carry 50lbs of personal safety gear, boots and tools; this bag makes getting in and out of airports and around works sites a whole lot easer. I have had to make a few repairs at a luggage repair shop and they have helped me reinforce it a bit but the cost was minor. The aluminum extend pull handle is not the strongest but I have been careful from the begining with no problems. The heavy duty wheels and heavy duty zipper have taken a lot of stress and abuse and held up very good.

I hate to remember the days before I had this bag! Guys are all the time coming up to me at airports and job sites asking me where I got it.

almost too big
As a field tech for a turbine and compressor manufacturer, I spend a large amount of time traveling with tools.I've used Bucket Boss products in the past and for the most part have been satisfied with the quality.When I saw this bag, I decided to give it a try.

First off, the bag is huge, I haven't seen one bigger.I carry wrenches and sockets up to 1 1/4", pliers, hammers... about 80 lbs worth and it doesn't even come close to filling this thing.Unfortunately, as with most bags, internal organization is up to you.After a couple of days on the job, the contents usually look like they have exploded.It has internal pockets, but these are far too narrow and short to be of any real use (maybe for electricians).I personally use the Klein zipper bags, and a wrench roll to keep my tools in some semblance of order.But the size is still a great plus, I can fit all my tools, my hardhat, and boots in this thing and still get the zipper closed with a little work.Makes transport to and from the jobsite much easier.

The second reason I bought this bag was the handle and wheels.Like the previous reviewer, I found the handle to be a little flimsy, but the wheels are top notch.I personally pack my bag in a Samsonite hardshell case for the airlines to abuse.I definitely would not trust the handle to survive more than one trip.The handle is just too exposed.To be fair, I've seen professional metal hand boxes that don't survive either.As far as on the jobsite, I love it, I can walk from one end of the plant to the other, rolling my tools behind me.

One sore point though, I don't know what giant they desiged this for,the shoulder strap is just too long.Even with it shortened up all the way, it is still way too long.I'm 5' 8" and the bag sits midway down my thigh when I do have to carry it.Would have been nice to see a shorter strap where the bag would fall on my hip when going up stairs.

Quality is standard for Bucket Boss, Handles beefed up for the extra weight, and I'm suprised the shoulder strap attachments haven't ripped out yet like they did on my Long Boy.

Overall great bag, with a few gripes.Since Bucket Boss doesn't even list this on their website, and Amazon is the only place I've seen it, I assume it is or will be discontinued.I guess I'd better buy another. I do get more questions on this bag than any other, and the price isn't all that bad, Sears sells an inferior rolling bag for almost the same price.I would recommend this to everyone, with the caveat that don't expect the airlines to treat it like you do, and it should last a long time.

Could be better...
I work as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity and recently had to travel with my tools to Georgia for the Jimmy Carter Work Project. Well the airline lost my tools, they went to Las Vegas and I landed in Atlanta...another story. Regarding the bag. The size is great, which may make it it's downfall. You can pack an incredible amount of stuff in there. Unfortunately the pull out handle for the rollers is made from light weight square aluminum and bent under the load. Also the shafts where the handle slides in gets dented very easily and makes pulling out the handle difficult. I resorted to never pulling out the handle full length and stooping over to pull it along. The whole handle assembly must be beefed up and protected better. ... Read more
