These bits break real fast
I started to use these bits for removing the grout on the tile above the bathtub. The bit worked fine for awhile, then it broke. I purchased several more of the 1/16" bit and even tried the larger one. They heat up and break. They are not cheap to replace. I found better bits at leakyshower.com for a fraction of the price. The dremel bits work, yet are not worth the cost. Maybe next time I'll just scape out the grout by hand.

Broke, & Broke again
This bit cuts very quickly at first but breaks rapidly.This works fine to replace a broken tile or two but isn't for a big job by any means.

Perfect bit for narrow tile
I never thought they made a grout removal bit this narrow until started helping my son remodel an apartment building he recently purchased. The 1 inch square tile in the bathrooms had the narrowest of space between the tiles. When it came to regouting the Dremel 569 bit did the trick. Would you mow your lawn with scissors?
Of course not, although it could be done. For the same reason you should not plan on sharpening a lawn mower with this gadget unless you want to waste HOURS needlessly. The easiest, quickest way I've found to sharpen a rotary mower is to use a 4" or 5" high-speed angle grinder without removing the blade from the mower. Just be sure to REMOVE THE SPARK PLUG WIRE and AVOID GAS SPILLS or UNPLUG THE CORD (duh!) and don't let the grinding sparks set anything on fire. ALWAYS wear goggles and leather gloves when grinding. A badly blunted blade can be restored easily this way in five minutes. A standard grinder disk will also outlast DOZENS of Dremel's expensive little stones.

If you've got a file and some boy scout skills use those.
I got one of these with my dremel tool.It works, but I really think a dremel tool is underpowered for sharpening applications.I spent some time trying to sharpen my shovel with it and finally gave up and grabbed a file and had it finished and a second shovel in less time and with far less noise.Let's face it, neither shovel or lawnmower blades need to be as accurately sharpened as a knife and a file will work handily, cost the same and last longer.

Good for midseason sharpening
The Dremel lawnmower blade sharpener works pretty good.But only as a midseason blade sharpener.Be careful sparks fly all over the place with this tool.If your blades are really dull take them to the pros but at midseason this tool will help put the edge back on a mild dull blade. Tough Guy
I do a lot of cutting doing hobbies and other household jobs and usually wear the teeth down to nubs before changing the blade. They work wonderfully on all types of woods and all thicknesses. For radial cutting they hold up well in most cuts as long as you do not try too tight a radius. The low price make these tough guys a great deal that is hard to beat. Just where is the savings?
I refuse to buy this product from you for the following reasons! You advertise that I save $10. by buying a battery pack from you, then charge 33 percent of its value, or $10., in "postage and handling". That makes the$20.00 item cost $30.00. My biggest question is this: How can you possibly charge $10. postage for a tiny, light weight item such as this?

A must-have accessory for the Minimite
The Dremel Minimite is a great tool for jobs away from AC power.Its single battery is good for most jobs; but, if the job goes into overtime (over 45 minutes of tool use), this extra battery is an absolute must. Poor Design
I have owned a 395 for a couple of years now and this tool has a very flimsy drive shaft made of soft plastic. If you use it very much or for too long ofa time at once, the shaft will melt and break. I would not recommend this tool until Dremel starts adding about 10 extra shafts to each kit or makes them of a more durable material that does not melt under stress.

A "must own" tool for everyone
This is the one tool that everyone must have in their home or apartment.

I bought one of these several years ago and have found very few things that a dremel can't do.Sharpening lawnmower blades, polishing metals, cutting and carving wood, sanding, cutting drywall, drilling holes, gunsmithing, etc...The possibilities are endless.

If you have room, you can set up a workbench with the limitless supply of accessories.

This is, by far, the most versatile tool ever invented.

Does what's expected
I needed an extra battery so that I could have an extra when mine was charging. The second one was as good as the first and has performed admirably. The first is 4 years old and performs like when it was new.

Beginning to look a bit worn and tired.
My cutter has cut everything from balsa to hardwoods, and even some wire and plastic. After two years it really isn't worn out, but I am now ordering a replacement-- just in case I need it in the next year or two. In answer to the last reviewer who wonders what bits are available to fit Dremel tools. If he would use the universal chuck he could use any bit he could shove into it down to sub-miniature bits like I use to drill holes through toothpicks used to make small parts on ship models.

A GERATCUTTER FOR USE IN PINE
I needed something that could cut through wood like butter and I found it! This great carbide slotting saw cuts through pine like nothing! If you take enough passes, you can cut right through! This bit hogs out alot of material. So if you like to use it for hobby work or if you need something that will hog out slots in wood quickly this is the one to get.
