good and strong
The 26" box is very well made, has great locking latches and is big. It isn't so big that it isn't portable - but it is probably as big as you'd want to carry around with you. It has an internal tray to store your smaller stuff in and a nice comfortable carry handle.

The 36" box is HUGE and is NOT PORTABLE!! This is a box you'd want if you're looking for sturdy, permanent tool storage in your workshop or the back of your pickup.

I wish they made these things in plain black, but that's probably just me :-)

One man shop, these are a must
I do lots of small boxes and drawers.These clamps are perfect to use one handed to hold the small sides in place while I get stronger clamps in place.They're not strong enough for glue-ups.But they will keep the parts in place while you put the screw clamps on.

These are a great value for the money
I picked these up at a local hardware store and have been generally pleased with the purchase.They are pretty decent quality for a surprisingly low price.The cutting action is fairly clean with the usual tearout expected from this type of bit.Of course they are just spade bits, best suited to rough carpentry and home improvement tasks - but many times even us woodworkers don't want or need to use a forstner bit!I haven't had need to use every bit in this kit yet, but I was impressed with the array Irwin includes here.For the price I paid, I probably won't bother resharpening when the time comes.

By the way, shop around!I paid less than half the price shown here for the exact same set.

Great product at a great price
Nice job Irwin. These bores are fantastic. I've used them with my Milwaukee cordless and they do a great job. I've used them when cutting holes for electrical cords in furniture that did not have them, and for desks that I needed to run keyboard and mice cables through the top. They cut a perfect diameter hole in whatever you need them to. So far, they have not needed resharpening, and I've used the 1 inch piece at least 20 times. Very well made. ... Read more

An old standard that keeps on working.An essential !!
I've been using these for years in the satellite tv, alarm, and the electrical industry.The 18" length is just ideal for drilling from outer walls into the interior, through top and bottom wall plate studs into walls.These are fast drilling and long lasting.I have them in 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2" diameters.The 5/8's will be ideal for standard sheathed cable.

Wow!Neat set of tools
I just ordered a bunch of tools.Of all of them, I like this one the best!The home improvement centers I visited do not have this set.Three vise-grip tools included, all with cushinoned handles.A needle-nose, small regular, and large regular.Plus, the needle-nose and small one has it's own nylon sheath with belt loops.I put my classic needle-nose pliars away and put these in my tool box.This is a good deal.I've already used the needle-nose to repair my vaccuum cleaner which I don't think a regular one would have worked.Thumbs up! ... Always at the ready-my new multi-tool
I have and used many multi-tools and never thought I would call these 4 inch vise grips one. If you use tools they are perfect to have in your pocket while doing work or out on a job. They're great for: pulling out nails and staples, using on any size nut or bolt (they even grip well on rusted or rounded out ones), holding or starting screws in hard to reach areas and the list goes on. Out of all the tools I have and use I reach for these the most. Probably becuase it helps that they're so small and light I always have them in my pocket.
