Some missing parts, but Amazon working on problem
Did not receive second blade or vacuum attachment as described in the product description, but Amazon is working on getting them, I'm giving 3 stars just on the cosmetics, used but not much. I will upgrade as soon as I get the remaining accessories .. AMAZON AND BOSCH CAME THRU .. GOT ALL ACCESSORIES .. TOTALLY PLEASED .. 5 STARS

Great deal on a planer
I have used this planer primarily on doors in my house. In particular, I've found it long enough to get the start and end of the edge planed without "clipping" the edge. I'm not an expert door-hanger -- but it has easily paid for itself in saved labor costs.

A few words of advice on (interior doors). Plane when your house is MOST humid (usually in the summer) as the doors expand and you want them to close easily when they are most expanded. Be sure to plane an extra 1/64" or so to allow yourself a gap for a primer and at least one if not two finished coats of paint on the side edge of your doors. As for the tops and bottoms, leave them unpainted to allow the wood to dry if they are new doors, otherwise, a matching primer is more than enough and you need not bother with a finish coat of paint. Unless your doors is really badly off, you will not need to re-seat the hardware, but be prepared to if necessary. But before you start, make sure all of your hinge plates are on tight. No use taking a plane to a door if the problem is not the size of the door, but loose hingest. If so, replace the hinge screws with longer ones, and be sure to pre-drill the holes first to prevent cracking the door or jamb wood.

This tool beats hand planing allowing you to complete a door in just a few minutes. It will take you more time to get the door off and remove the hardware than to plane the edges. Super tool
I recently lost my reconditioned 3107 in a fire and I'm going to buy another just like it. Does that say anything? Tons of power. Just completly different from using a discount store vibrator. A little heavy, definatly a 2-handed affair, but thats OK. There are sexier looking sanders but the "polisher" looking handle is adjustable and functional. Dust collection is unimpressive (never connected to a vac.) All-in-all one of my favorite tools.

Great Sander - superior dust collection - bargain price!
Having been VERY disappointed with the performance and long-term quality of the Black & Decker, Porter Cable & Dewalt versions of this machine, I thought I'd try this reconditioned unit.
It is GREAT! Very quiet and smooth running with really exceptional dust collection, I am VERY impressed. It has no tendency to "spin-up" at all and the dust collection is nothing short of amazing. The only shortfall I can find is the need to remove the front handle to sand close to a vertical surface with the front of the machine.
At the price of a mediocre, inferior product, it is an irresistable bargain if you need one.

Bosch recently introduced routers that it claims have the highest power-to-weight ratio inthe industry. We believe them. The 1618B is a member of Bosch's new Magnesium line.This router features a stout 11-amp, 1-3/4-horsepower motor coupled with anall-magnesium base and housing. The result is a lightweight, well-balanced, andsmooth-operating machine that offers fast results in demanding applications. TheD-handle provides excellent control--especially when reaching and turning on andoff--and the auxiliary handle reverses, which is handy.

Bosch engineers are very proud of what they call the "precision centering system," whichmakes the router bit track at true center. Bosch rules
Save some money and order this reconditioned saw. the one I bought had some little scraches on the table top but not a thing that would effect the performance of the saw.It seems to be working great for me. I built a play house for my sons and I did a lot of ripping of 2x4s and it worked out great. I own other bosch tools and they all have been reliable. I also own a 18v Skil high performance drill and saw and that works good too. Skil is made by bosch but not as expensive. Keep up the research because you will find what is the best buy for your hard earned cash. Amazon has been a good place to research products for me and to buy from.

New saw is a better value
Reconditioned is supposed to be "returned to like-new condition". The saw I received does not look new to me, it looks like a used saw. Deep scratches in the table and some sawdust. For a bit more more, you can get the new version with extensions and stand. The money saved buying a slightly beat-up looking used saw isn't worth it.

Good tool for good price
Although I wasn't looking for a reconditioned tool,I have no complaints with this purchase.It looks like new and comes with a manual and case.It performs well and I didn't even have to adjust the tracking on the belt that comes with it.I'm refinishing my kitchen cabinets and this tool is very helpful in sanding the narrow places.

Aabsolutely Great detail sander
I bought mine from a tool service center to sand on hardwood floors on an outside porch on edges and corners and between the numerous upright posts,which it does with no problem, making it look and really be "Quick and easy". The tight radius of the tip gets"hard it get to"jobs done easily with a speed you can set easily with the dial.At slower speeds it smooths like a dream and quiets down too,although it whines at the higher speeds so ear and dust protection is needed.Also care is required when holding that fingers don't move onto the belt and it's pinch points. Shipping Destroyed Product
The heavy router was in a cardboard box twice the size of the router with absolutely no packing and shipped via UPS.Needless to say the router arrived smashed into several pieces.I know this was not the fault of Amazon, because after several emails to customer service I was told the router comes directly from Bosch.I would have just exchanged the router but I then read through the other reviews of Bosch reconditioned tools on Amazon and found several people mention identical problems with packaging.There is obviously a pattern of perfunctory packaging with reconditioned Bosch products.Therefore, I got a refund and will probably just purchase a new one.The reconditioned kit is not much of a saving either.My router did not come with any of the kit accessories.I was expecting a ¼ inch Collet Chuck, a ½ inch Collet, Template Guide, Chip Shield, Dust Extraction Hood, Vacuum Hose Adapter and the Carrying Case.After several more emails to customer service I was told only the collets, a dust hood, the template guides and wrench are included.My main reason for wanting the kit was to get the... Bosch case, which they told me is NOT included with the reconditioned kit.You have to buy a new kit to get the case.

A very good plunge router
The Bosach 1613 EVS router is a really good machine.The soft start prevents the router from jumping when it starts and possibly ruining a cut.The power switch is a trigger in the handle, more convenient and safer than a toggle switch on top of the unit.The depth setting has a multi-position turret, allowing deep cuts to be made gradually and repeatably.The depth setting itself is a little counter-intuitive, but makes sense once you've played with it for a few minutes.The 2 hp is enough that it has never bogged down on me, even while making 3/4" wide grooves in hardwood.All in all, a very good router, whose only glitch is the depth setting procedure. ... Need to do an undercut at a doorway?This is very easy to use.

Probably use it more often than I should, given the cost of extra blades, but it is very handy if you are doing moderate complexity remodeling or building.Have used to quickly cut drywall (put a hole through wall for air-conditioner, nice, fast way of cutting drywall), plastic pipe, undercut doors, mitre door trim (without the box actually)....
