I have several of these, and they're wonderful: they clip onto a hook on your tool belt, they hold rock solid, and come off easily. The rubber pads do a lot to prevent marring the work, but use blocks on more delicate work to avoid damage.

My only complaint was that I dropped one onto a concrete floor and the plastic on the sides came off. The clamp still functions well, but occasionally the trigger falls of at inopportune moments.

Amazing clamps!
As of writing, I have only had my Quik-Grip clamps a single day, but I already absolutely love them! They are easily set up with only one hand, which is really convenient when clamping down a homemade fence for a router table, or anthing else that reguires the other hand to hold your workpiece down.
This package of clamps is a very good deal too. Ratcheting hand clamps are usually very expensive (the price of the two largest clamps from a home center is about the same as this entire package!). The description says you get 2 2" smaller clamps as well. I got 4! I don't know if this an error, but I'm not complaining!
Ratchet clamps, although expensive, are totally amazing. They are especially handy for sanding and routing, where vibration can undo screws. This package is a great deal and I haven't ruled out buying another set. These things are total time savers.
(And, if you ever get really bored, you can race them! We actually used to do that in my shop class!)

Addictive!

simply great!
when i first got this toolbox i did not think i would make it my main box. becuase a have a 36" snap-on tool box that i keep my nuts and tools and bolts in but i fell in love with this tool box the fist time i put all my nuts in it.Even my friends come over and put their nuts and bolts and wrenchs in it. the only problem i had was when my friend would come over and put his nuts in the box then take them out then put them back in. he would do this all night and it kinda wore my box out.i had to install a camera in the room that my box is in so i know where peoples nuts are at all times and that seemed to fix the problem. ... From a woodworker
Furniture making is a hobby of mine.This clamp has been useful in a variety of situations with stationary and hand held tools. That's why I'm waiting for another to arrive.I let it sit at the base of my drill press on a magnet.I bought it to hold down pieces as they were drilled but have found it handy throughout the shop.I also have many 3/4" and 1/2" pipe clamps, one hand operation clamps, and many C clamps.This clamp provides the greatest force with the least effort.

Tool of Many Uses
I have used my pair of these as glueing clamps, construction clamps, hold down clamps, stop block clamps and who knows what else.

They were real handy when I was assembling my Jet 5hp table saw (see that review).I usedtwo of them to hold up the cast iron extension tables while I aligned themand tightened the bolts.That was HEAVY duty.They are easy to adjust andcan be operated with one hand once the screw is adjusted to the gripthickness.

If you dont have any vise grip type pliers in your shop DO IT NOW.These pliers could withstand a bomb blast.I think these babies are destin for the hand tool hall of fame. They are only limited by your imagination.They now offer so many more styles and sizes then they used to.
