Get a Grip With a Vise Grip
This size vise grip is very useful as a small pipe wrench when working with <3/4" threaded pipe.I have also used mine to turn rounded nuts that a regular wrench can no longer grip.I have used it as a weldingclamp, a pipe vise (clamped in my workmate), a nail puller and a substitutefaucet handle.

This is a durable and versatile tool that you willconstantly find new uses for.It does require a second hand to activatethe release if you have it screwed down really tight.

More Uses Than You'd Think
Vise-grip products are pretty sturdy and can take a lot of abuse.The sheet-metal tool is no exception.It not only will clamp and hold a wider surface area than other grips, you can use it to get a nice, crisp fold ina variety of metals.Sheets that are longer than the jaw of the tool arenot a problem--you can just move the tool along and there is no buckle orfold between the placements.

I'm a tinsmith, and I use this tool prettyregularly.There are more expensive such tools around, with compoundaction, etc., but unless you use such a tool professionally and/or onextremely heavy-duty material, this is the best bang for the buck.And,once you have one, you'll wonder how you went so long without it. ... From a woodworker
Furniture making is a hobby of mine.This clamp has been useful in a variety of situations with stationary and hand held tools. That's why I'm waiting for another to arrive.I let it sit at the base of my drill press on a magnet.I bought it to hold down pieces as they were drilled but have found it handy throughout the shop.I also have many 3/4" and 1/2" pipe clamps, one hand operation clamps, and many C clamps.This clamp provides the greatest force with the least effort.

Tool of Many Uses
I have used my pair of these as glueing clamps, construction clamps, hold down clamps, stop block clamps and who knows what else.

They were real handy when I was assembling my Jet 5hp table saw (see that review).I usedtwo of them to hold up the cast iron extension tables while I aligned themand tightened the bolts.That was HEAVY duty.They are easy to adjust andcan be operated with one hand once the screw is adjusted to the gripthickness.
