Good product, convenient size
I'm not going to claim that I've owned this product for years, but so far so good. It cools down from room temperature down to around 40 degrees relatively quickly, and is a convenient size for keeping all sorts of different things in. The nice thing about it is that it's small enough that it can fit anywhere, but it's not rediculously small like many other mini-fridges, so you can actually keep something other than just a few cans of soda in it. However, because of the cooling unit and all that, it's still rather heavy and you're not going to want to make it a complete replacement for a cooler when you're going on trips or anything like that. It's more like a nice thing to keep under your desk or in your car with a few cold drink in it, available when you want them.

it was horrible
im only 14 so i thought it would be very cool of i just sat it on my desk so i could just grab a cold one any time i wanted!well thats the last time i ever tell myself that!It broke the first day!it just stopped when i was checking to see if it was cold or not!Yea some great deal!NOT!!thats the last time i ever buy any thing from this manuefactor!DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY*!!

do not buy this product
this cooler is no good. i bought it two days ago and the thing is very noisy and it took forever to cool my soda pops that i put in it. it took more than 24 hours to cool to 44 degrees and when i opened it to get a soda, the cooler inside was sweating and the temperature rose to 57 degrees, the thing took another 18 hours just to cool down to 48 degrees. also, when i came home from work, it left an aweful smell in my room. i returned it back right away. save your money and do not buy this product... ... Nice to have all the tools together in one box, but......
I just received this tool-set yesterday so I can't really comment through use of the tools.But upon inspection, the different tools appear very poorly made - example: the ratchet tool feels like it is going to fall apart as you twist the head to change the direction from left to right, and the flashlight is light as a feather.

Given that, having these tools together in one portable place is nice.Plus I guess you shouldn't really expect much more for the price.Don't get me wrong, I still plan on keeping this in the back of my truck.But if I were to do it again, I might spend a little more money, and put an emergency tool-box together myself.

UNIT WAS DANGEROUSLY FAULTY!
On first use (in our car), this unit first began to smell of burning, then began to smoke. At the point where the plastic top began to melt we managed to get off the highway we were on in order to get the unit out of our now smoky car. My two week old daughter was in the car also, this unit was supposed to keep her milk cool, not attempt to kill us.

Love this little cooler
Studying for the CA bar exam I had to be at the law library for 10-12 hours everyday for two and a half weeks straight.Using the "hot" version, I was able to have my hot meals every day, without having to take off too much time from my studies. The food stayed nice and hot (great home-y feel) after approximately 5 hours from the time I heated it up in the morning.It probably would stay hot even longer than that, but I had to worry about draining my power system.

When it was time for the exam, which is 3 days in CA, the hotel that I was staying at had ran out of their refrigerators.So, I took this little cooler and set it in the "cold" version.My food stayed COLD the whole time, not cool, COLD.I had cold cuts, cheeses, and soup that never went bad during the period of time.

When I checked the temperature, when set as cold, it stayed consistently at 32 degrees (colder than my refrigerator), and when set as hot, it was 120 degrees.It really works well.

The whirling noice that the other reviewer mentioned is correct, but it is not annoying at all. Since it doesn't have a high pitch sound, it was just fine.Even when I had it in the hotel room right next to the bed.And when you take the bar exam, every little noise would annoy you - trust me on that.

Hopefully I passed the exam. I would then give credit to this little cooler for having kept me fed during the ordeal with little hassle.

Great Idea for a Cooler, but...
I love the idea that this cooler will fit almost anywhere. It's especially nice that the Wagan cooler fits snugly, and relatively securely on the center console between the front seats in my Jeep Grand Cherokee (although I can't lift the door to the console, but you can't have everything).

The Wagan unit keeps things cool (as the name implies), but let's face it, this is no refridgerator, and for an electrically powered unit, I expect that it would keep drinks colder than using ice with a regular cooler, but it doesn't. Unless the Wagan cooler is left out in the snow in the middle of wintertime, it barely keeps things as cool as 40-42 degrees Farenheit when its about 72 degrees outside. WIth ice in a traditional cooler, you can expect to get things down to around 34-36 degrees, and in the summertime. And believe me this 4-8 degrees matters. In fact, the cooler performs much worse in hotter weather.

Also (and this is my biggest peeve), the cooler's AC power adapter died after less than one week of use---it's cheesy and probably not the stuff of power appliances like this Wagan cooler. Therefore, I would not suggest using the cooler as a full-time refridgerator/cooler in your office or den. The Wagan Cooler appliance package just isn't builttough enough for my relatively benign demands. Needs to keep the drinkies cool (I give it a "C-"), and needs to endure through typical (and specified I might add, by the manufacturer) use ("D-"). ... Read more

Low quality, high price
The light stopped working after about 6 hours of use.Tried ordering and replacing battery pack, no luck.I have had other micro lights, and the quality of this one leaves much to be desired.When it did work, it was as bright as advertised.

it's not as bright as you would like.i have seem smaller products that offer the same illumination.it'll come handy when a handheld flashlight is not available.dont rush to buy this item.

While this is a 51-piece tool set, we should mention at the outset that 22 of the "pieces" are 4-inch plastic cable ties. Also included in the count of 51 items are 2 electrical testers, a roll of electrical tape, and the handy carrying pouch. That said, this compact set does offer quite a bit of what you'd want to have in your car to handle roadside repairs. The ratcheting handle is intended for use as both a screwdriver and--with the aid of an included adapter--a socket driver. While this set isn't heavy duty enough for making serious repairs, the tools are well constructed and handy for tightening up loose nuts, bolts, and screws, and for inspection and minor repairs of your car's wiring. excellent idea - poor execution
The main bar of the hitch hand is heavy steel, fitting into a 2" receiver and with a socket welded to the other end. This socket receives a lighter guage steel T-bar into which go the side extensions. Unfortunately, the socket on the one I received was not welded straight - it was off enough that the T-bar, when attached, was off from level nearly 1 inch over its approx. 3' length. In addition, there were no instructions (assembly is intuitive enough, though), and the very torn cardboard packaging was inadequate for such a heavy item. The one I received new was scratched up and rusted in places. There is barely enough height adjustment to reach the bed height of a 2001 Chevy 1500 Z-71(not HD). This one gets returned.

Hitch Hand helps to haul extra long cargo
I purchased a Hitch Hand cargo hauler for my husband and he has found many helpful uses for the devise.From time to time needed to haul deck lumber to job sites and it allowed him to transport it safetly in the bed of his pick up.He loves it!Every contractor should have one!!

One impressive little impact wrench
I love this little impact wrench, very light and extremely powerful. I have tested it on wheel lug nuts tightened up to 190 ft. lbs., and to my surprise, it is able to crack the lug nut free after a few seconds. It does sound like it is struggling to crack the lug nut loose, but hey, 190 ft. lbs. is already way beyond the 147 ft. lbs. specification limit. I love the variable speed and electric brake, it is able to turn even at slightly above zero rpm, and the electric brake allows the wrench to stop spinning immediately when your figner leaves the trigger (Useful when the nut is a drain plug for draining some liquid, you want total control over the speed as you don't want the liquid to spill out unexpectedly.). cheap and effective car care
this product works rather well. i seem to have an ocd concerning car care so naturally i'd like to save a little time and money while trying to stay 'spotless'. this duster does the trick. do read the directions though. the wax from the duster will streak at first especially on windows. also the duster doesn't pick up things like water spots from the dew the night before. but for things like pollen, road dust, and small bugs it works great. ...
