Not worth all the hassle for the power/battery
I think it is really unpleasing to have the power outlet and it is a real pain to have to worry about batteries... I don't think it's worth the price.I then found a ParkingTarget (ParkingTarget.com) which is non-technical, so it doesn't need power, and seems to work much better.You should consider it before making the mistake of buying this really expensive one.

Perfect Parking Every Time
This product is great!With its green-yellow-red light system, the driver knows exactly when the car is perfectly parked.One reviewer stated, incorrectly, that you cannot use more than one in a single garage.I have had two functioning in my garage for several years, without problem or incident.I have mine plugged into an outlet, rather than battery operated, so that may improve performance, but if the product is aligned according to the easy-to-follow instructions, there shouldn't be a problem.My oldest son just got his first car, and my first purchase was the Park-Zone to ensure he doesn't wreck his car pulling into the garage!This product is definitely a 5-star product!

Not the greatest
My husband purchased one for me for christmas 2004.It worked for a short time.Approximately for a month, now it doesn't do anything.Now the return policy is over and I cannot get the refund.Great while it worked but I agree that a bobber on a string touching the windshield is much cheaper and has done the job for the last 11 years. ... Operation
I bought 3 genie garage door openers and one chamberlain. Be aware that this unit though chain drive is significantly quieter than Genie. That surprised me since I had always used Genies.

I just installed the opener today.Fairly easy to install.I was able to use some of the exisiting hardware from the previous installation so I didn't have to worry about hangers or the wall or door mounts.The settings were pretty close right out of the box for distance and force.This has all the safety features that I was looking for plus it is very quiet.It is below our bedroom so I went with the belt drive.Much quieter than the LiftMaster chain drive it replaced.Besides all the usual bells and whistles that pretty much all the combo sets have (2 openers, rolling code, outside keypad, safety beam eyes) it has a cool feature that lets you add devices from the wall mount so you don't have to get up on a stool or ladder to press the "learn" button on the motor.The 2 100 watt lights are nice and bright.So far no complaints. ...
