Good tool
I've used this for putting in cabinets and it almost makes a one man job.I still need an assist lifting large cabinets onto the jacks.I have used these for quite a few other things as well--adding an extension to a table saw, assembling a lathe, etc.I would not use it for installing drywall.It's just tooawkward. I would give it 4 stars if it weren't so spendy.It's just pipe, threaded rod and some plastic parts.

Precise with easy set up.
I used the T-Jak recently on a remodeling project.It is a very good, durable tool to have on location.Whenever ceiling joists were being adjusted or headers and beams were being replaced, supporting the item using the T-Jak was easier and more professional than by bracing using 2x4's.

Very awkward for ceilings, great for cabinets
Purchased this to hang drywall on ceilings as advertised. The cleats are rudimentary and the 400lb capacity Jak is way overkill for a sheet of drywall. The real problem is lifting one edge of drywall over your head to a height of 8' (bending, cracking, difficult to position in tight spots), inserting the edge under the cleats, reaching for the T-Jak and adjusting the sliding nut to a height that will support the other edge of drywall. The instructions are completely inadequate - no tips or hints on making this awkward process safer or easier. Three sheets came crashing down around me before I could get them positioned.
The T-Jak is just great for hanging cabinets. The adjusting nut means you can dial in cabinet height exactly. If you hang cabinets often, this is the tool.
I'm a home repair professional. If I had to do it again, I would probably purchase the 3rd Hand as a more versatile addition to my business. ... Read more

Rubbermaid Step Stool Tool Box - an essential!
For years I have traveled around the country showing horses. The Rubbermaid Step Stool Tool Box is an essential tool. I have one that holds my braiding supplies and one that holds my clipping supplies. The storage space inside the stool clears away the clutter and organizes all those small tools. And the fact that it's a stool gives short people like me a one-up! At home, I have one for gardening tools and small household tools. It's very convenient to have everything in one easy to carry tool-box, rather than having to carry everything PLUS a stool. I just pick it up and go!

Great for fitness videos and storing weights
I use this stool when I do my Firm exercise videos.It's stable and doesn't tip over, plus it holds pairs of 10 lb, 8 lb, and 5 lb dumbbells as well as two pairs of ankle weights.It's a lot cheaper than other exercise steps.

Great Product
This items is as advertised and works very well. I love LED flashlights and this is my third. I use all three. The battery savings are phenominal. The three settings for light intensity are very nice. It is great as an extra photo light in low light conditions. It is great for computer repairs, trimming mustache, fixing car engine, looking for something in a drawer. I love it, but I agree that one needs a hat on or it will pull hair out. Highly recommended.

This is the hardhat model, not barehead model.
Pros: Switch functions solidly and easily. Construction is solid and durable. Brighter than expected. Beam is fairly even/smooth.

Notice: Streamlight makes two models of the Septor. The 61008 is for hardhats and has a rubber strap and head plate with two connection points (this model is NOT good for wearing directly on your head/hair). The 61007 has an elastic cloth headband, including a top strap, and a head plate with three strap connection points; designed for wearing directly on your head/hair. ...(Streamlight Customer Service said that the head plate with three strap connection points is not currently available as a part that can be ordered from service.)...

Two problems
This light has two problems. 1st, it has the rubber hardhat strap rather than the three point elastic head strap.Putting it on your head without a hat is like putting on a SCUBA mask with a dry head - it pulls your hair out.The solution is to wear it with a baseball cap, but it would be better if it had the elastic straps.

2nd, the light is not as bright as I had thought it would be.Don't expect it to equal a full size Maglite.

That being said, it is a wonderfully light headlamp that runs a long time and is fairly bright for close up hands free work. ... Read more

These are not a good choice...
I bought a couple of these clamps at a time when I was refinishing a lot of old office furniture and needed a way to clamp new edgebanding around some desktops.In theory these would work fine for that but in reality you would need 3 or 4 hands to pull it off!

In order to get any decent edge clamping pressure you need to tighten the top and bottom "pinching" arms of this clamp pretty hard.Since these clamps do not have any sort of pads on them, they dent the surface of the wood quite easily.To avoid this you will need to put in some sacrificial wood shims to protect the furniture piece.Then you run into the same problem with the edge clamp not having a pad.By the time you also factor in that none of the clamps' threaded parts operate smoothly, you have a recipe for heartache and pain every time you want to use these for a glue-up.

Save your money and buy something of higher quality or find another way to secure your work. ... Read more

Absolute junk.Don't buy these table legs. **
First of all the legs were bent.I had to press and pry until they were approximately straight.Second, there were no installation instructions.When I installed them so that the legs were perpendicular to the table top (the legs were at 90 degree angle when open), the hinges wouldn't allow the legs collapse flat to the bottom.I had to install them so that the legs splayed outward at about a 125 degree angle to the table top.Only then would the legs collapse flat to the bottom of the table.Third, there is no locking system for the hinges.So if you shake or bump the table the legs collapse.Next time I'll spend the 30 or 40 bucks and get better legs.Take my advice, DON'T BUY THESE TABLE LEGS.
