5-0 out of 5 stars update of the stilts
I find the metric nuts and bolts are all standard. and the strap clamp has been improved, so that the strap can work better. I find the wingnut is produced by forging so that it will not loose. the spring is tested by 50 thousand times press.
I just think it is a good choice.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not very happy
I find the stilt's structure comparable with what is sold at a higher price, but the accessory parts like the spring tensioner, nuts & bolts, and straps are inferior. The weld on the wingnuts snapped off the first time I tightened them; you don't end up saving any money by the time you pay for all these extra replacment parts and any expedited shipping.Better to go pay more locally!

2-0 out of 5 stars Not user friendly at all. Bad design, poor instructions.
Be ready with a set of thin walled metric and standard sockets and wrenches. The instructions on these stilts leave you completely in the dark on assembly. There are no clear pictures of how to properly assemble the product. The user is left guessing if the stilts are properly assembled. The manual is also very poor in instructions for first time users. The most surprising part is the hardware is both metric and standard on the same product. I don't understand why any manufacturer would mix both metric and standard nuts and bolts on one product. I mean, pick one! You must also have a thin walled socket set to assemble them. The straps are a pain to adjust and don't do a good job of securing you in place. Not recommended. ... Read more

Have you ever wished you could see behind a wall or into a tight work area to diagnose a problem or avoid accidentally drilling into pipes or other hidden obstacles? Now you can. Whether rebuilding an engine, clearing a clogged drain, or peering behind a wall, ProVision's flexible fiber-optic scope is the ideal tool for the job. One-handed focusing and light control make the tool easy to operate, while the flexible cable bends easily in any direction yet is still firm enough to maintain its position until readjusted. The visibility? Thanks to the high resolution lens, the fiber-optic scope focuses on objects as close as 3/4 inch, with a wide 40-degree field of view. --Carl Thress ... Read more

Hot time, summer in the city--there's nothing like a powerful fan to keep you cool and collecteddespite the heat. The Blizzard oscillating fan from Holmes features three speed settings and a hard-workingBlizzaire motor to ensure you have the temperature control to keep your wits about you. The fan headfeatures a swirling grill design, adjustable for complete control over the tilt angle, and can oscillate fromany position. The fan has a solid, wide base for tabletop or desk use (just don’t place it too close to yourcomputer monitor--it will make your display flicker), and we especially appreciate the handle built into thebase for easy moving or storage. If your tabletop real estate is at a premium, the fan is easy to mount on awall, although the mounting hardware is not included. 4-0 out of 5 stars Here's the long and short of it.
The fan is GREAT! It is powerful, and really moves the air. I bought one for my cubicle at work against the other recommendations. It is a little loud, but not a nuisance on the low setting (which still moves the air quite adequately). If it is turned on to medium or high, it's just too noisy for a cubicle. For an office with a door, it may be just fine. If you're in a cubicle in a relatively quiet office, run it on low, and you'll be just fine.
The footprint for the fan is quite large. The base is ~20cm width and ~25cm deep. So, unless you plan to mount it to a wall, make sure you have room on your desk. You may also want to purchase paper weights... ;)

5-0 out of 5 stars Very pleased with this fan!
From the other reviews, I figured this fan would either be perfect for us or horrible. (We're using it for bedroom "white noise.") It's loud, for sure, but not too loud. Certainly would not bother anyone in the next room. And it's a good fan. Plus -- the price is right! If you're interested, you should probably at least give it a try. Definitely NOT for office use -- way too loud for that!

2-0 out of 5 stars wears out quickly
It worked well for a little while, but over a few weeks the motor got weaker and louder. Now its just really loud and doesn't push air. I plan on returning it. ... Read more

This ultralight, ultracompact, ultracute little LED lamp weighs less than a golf ball and fits in the palm of your hand. Even better, its versatility allows users to attach it to an ankle, wrist, bicep, or most any other body part--including the head, of course. 1-0 out of 5 stars My Experience with Zipka
I was very excited to have my Zipka at first, for all the reasons others mention here. Then I noted, as another reviewer did, that it seemed to eat batteries faster than advertised - but I still loved it. Then it began to misbehave. It began flashing and not turning on at various times - really cut my enjoyment. But still tolerable. Then one day I had it mounted on my bike helmet and it flipped off, falling to the ground and breaking in an unfixable way. I won't buy another - if they make one that's more robust and functions consistently, I'd be delighted. I'm going to try the Princeton Tec Aurora now. Hope this helps.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic For Camping And Many Other Uses!
I purchased my first Zipka as a stocking stuffer for my husband, HOPING he would use it.It gets used all the time!Taking out the trash, in the workshop, as a book light, around the house and of course Camping! My whole family has since purchased them. The battery lasts forever and its a great way to tend the fire or cook without having to set up a lantern or other light source. Its light weight and durable too.Even my small cousins have them and they work great!

5-0 out of 5 stars Wow- lasts forever, great product!
This light never dies due to its LED technology. It is not extremely bright but definitely bright enough for illuminating your path at night. It is great for power outages or camping.I feel much safer walking or jogging at night in my neighborhood.Light-weight, very good attachment mechanism. This product is a major improvement compared to the standard head lamp, to the point that everybody should have one.It is a perfect gift in that it is (1) reasonable price, (2) usable by anybody, (3) sufficiently different that people are unlikely to already have it, (4) truly useful/safety feature as opposed to worthless junk that is most gifts. ... ClimbTek's multipurpose ladder lets you customize it to the task. The ClimbTek articulating ladder quickly adjusts from stepladder to 16-foot extension ladder to stairwell ladder to scaffolding, making even difficult maintenance jobs, like changing hard-to-reach bulbs in stairwells, manageable. Folding sections create a sturdy work area on uneven surfaces such as stairs, low walls, or ledges. Strong locking hinges click in place, and a red hinge label tells at a glance whether or not joints are locked. The four-section ladder collapses for easy storage. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars good ladder
I have a good deal of experience working from ladders,I have been using this for a couple months now. Overall it is a good ladder and seemsstable. The rungs are not as comfortable on the feet asstandard ladders, andnotevenclose in comfortto a standard step ladder. But they are fine for people not using the ladder day in and day out.You do pay a price for the versatility of these ladders.
on the plus side
-one handed latch mechanism is easier then the others to use.
-300# rating
- seems strong as scaffold
- made in USA
- big time versatility
on the minus side
-rungs are not comfortable
-a bit heavy, compaired to some other non-folding ladders
-narrower then some other ladders
-watch your fingers when folding
Remember -
ladders account for a huge number of injuries each year, follow the directions. a 5 second decision can affect the rest of your life.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Product
After reading the various other reviews I first contacted the Werner company and was informed that they no longer have a 16 ft 300 lb rated ladder. One of my neighbors has an articulated ladder from another company and noted that on one occasion he almost suffered an injury due to the locks not being fully engaged. The ClimbTek ladder lock system is better designed. An excellent choice given the nominal cost and at the time I ordered, free shipping.

5-0 out of 5 stars great buy for the price and quality
I found out about this climbtek ladder while searching for articulating ladder when I was always finding werner brand. I weight 160 pounds and 5'9" tall and can carry the ladder in folded position just by one hand. Its easy to manage and work with. you can pull the lever by one hand and 'click' works fine. The square steps provides secure standing. The only problem is does not lock in folded/storage position but that's ok.and yes this is the 300# while the werner is only 250#

strongly recommend to buy this if you can afford it. ... Read more

Editorial Review

The Bigg Lugg tool holder might be a deceptively simple-looking device, but it's a breakthrough accessory on the job site. Anyone who's ever dropped a cordless drill or a nail gun off the top of a ladder or scaffolding is sure to appreciate the Bigg Lugg's effectiveness. Unlike standard holsters, the Bigg Lugg swivels on your belt, so tools continue to hang down even when you bend over or sit--they don't slip out the way they can with holsters. It also folds flat to your belt when not in use, which helps keep it from hooking or getting caught. The Bigg Lugg clips to any belt, though it fastens most securely to a 2-inch belt (on wide belts, the clasp can't pinch shut). We use ours mainly for cordless drills, but it also works well for nail guns and reciprocating saws. While the Bigg Lugg might not change your life, it will make your workday a lot easier. --Jon Groebner ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Don't Think Twice
Great tool, I bought it specifically for hanging drywall ceilings solo. It sets up in no time, is light and well made. It is small enough to get into small rooms. I would recommend this staging to anyone.

5-0 out of 5 stars The best tool in my arsenal
Being a general contractor, I use my tools and equipment everyday. this has got to be the best scaffold I've owned. I have 2 Perry scaffolds, and they hardly ever come out unless I need to stack a couple for high work.

This thing is great.. It's small enough to get in any office or room without taking apart, or scratching up a new $500 Mahogany door. The planks are adjustable to different heights, and when you done and want to load all your tools up and roll them into a service elevator or whatever its GREAT !! Fits into the tightest places

The scaffold ladders are at just the right height to lay a piece of lumber or drywall rip and cut on top of it.

An indespensible, scaffold, work bench, and tool carrier

5-0 out of 5 stars Life is alot easier with the CB-4U
I am a contractor in New Orleans. I do alot of trim work and a little painting. I have used home made scaffolding and ladders to work over head for last 4 years. Six months ago I purchased the CB-4U and it has changed my life. It is easy to use with just one person and sturdy enough to use with three people. I would say that it is a must if you do alot of over head work. I would buy it again in a heart beat. Spend the extra fifty bucks and get a quality product. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Can you say "DAD", for dumb ass design?
I ordered these gems to carry 85 twelve foot sheets about 150 ft.After 5 trips the sleeves started slipping and we had to toss them and carry by hand. The shaft is smooth, so without any adhesive, or scoring of the shaft the sucker just starts slipping, and you can't use them.If you buy them, you better plan on fixing them before you really need them.Man, I was PISSED!

5-0 out of 5 stars Handy as a hammer, can't move without it!
I found the use of the JHandle very useful. I.m a single mother of three so when it came to moving I enlisted my mothers help and I have quite of few larger items that would normally be difficult for two women to move however with this tool I found it quite easy to get a grip or a handle on those items and move them with ease. I think it's a great tool and would recommendeveryone to have if they don't already.

5-0 out of 5 stars Almost make carrying sheet goods fun!
I was at first reluctant to purchase this item, but they seemed to be priced right and I had a gift certificate. I a remodeler and always cringe at the thought of carry around alot of drywall, plywood and other sheeting goods. After using this product just once, I no longer have a doubt in my mind that it was a great pkurchase.A friend and I were carrying 3/4" osb sheets three at a time without any problems. It may take a second or two to orient them the first time, but once you do, they lock in and don't slip.Another nice thing is that you can locate them at any height along the edge of the sheets, so you can get a confortable grip. The handles are confortable, much more than holding on the the sheeting itself and puts your handhold in a much more comfortable position.I believe you may also be able to use them to carry furniture or cabinets, I just haven't tryed yet.I'd recommend these to anyone. ... 1-0 out of 5 stars Good Clamp, but Pads Stain Parts
I recently purchased 15 clamps for a big project I was working on that required two 12x96x.75 plywood panels to be clamped and glued together. After removing the clamps I noticed that wherever the clamp pad touched the wood was a big puddle of oil.I called the manufactureer and they suggested that this was normal and to try using mineral spirits to remove the stain.Mineral spirits didn't work and I had to trash $70 worth of ribbon sapelle plywood.
Before purchasing this clamp, check with Jorgensen to see if they have resolved the oily pad problem. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Great light for the price
There are lots of better lights out there. But for less then $20, you can't beat the price for this flashlight. Especially if you just need something to have around the house.

The only real problem I have with this light is that the switch tends to come off fairly easy. It's not too hard to put it back on, and if you lose it, it's fairly cheap to replace (less then $2). But still annoying.

5-0 out of 5 stars Simply the Best.
Though this 2D model is slightly smaller than the 4D model that many people are familar with, this model is just as useful. In fact, I prefer the 2D model because it's easier to handle and not as awkward to carry as the longer 4D model. The light in this baby shines bright enough to almost completely illuminate a small room. If you so desire, you can focus the beam or let it spill out. The bulb hardly ever has to be replaced and even if you use the inexpensive batteries, they don't need to be replaced as often either (the light sucks ALL the juice out). Besides just being a great flashlight, the Mag-Lite 2D also works well as a club--you can actually knock someone out cold. A great tool; one that every home should at least have one of.

1-0 out of 5 stars Long-time customer'sfirst time warranty claim ignored!
3 weeks ago, I contacted Maglite for a replacement switch for my 4-D flashlight, in which the switch failed. The customer service rep asked me for my serial number, which I gave her and she assured me that I could get a replacement switch.I gave her my name and address and she said that a shipment had just gone out, and it would be in the next shipment. That was fine with me.Days turned into weeks.Still no part.More days went by.STILL no part in the mail.

Hmmmm. Is this how long time customers are treated?I previous owned a variety of their flashlights, from an AAA Solitaire to a 5-D flashlight, at least 5 in total. My dad has purchased in the neighborhood of 15 or more himself, starting in about '86 when someone else turned him onto Maglites.

Customer support is as important to me as the product itself.Has customer support become a casualty of a tough economy?

This long-time customer will have to look at alternatives the next time he's buying a flashlight. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Cleverly called the Forearm Forklift, these handy adjustable lifting straps make carrying heavy and hard-to-handle furniture and appliances remarkably easy. Using the Forearm Forklift, two people can carry large, heavy objects at a low center of gravity, only inches off the ground. As a result, you don't have to bend way down to pick up the object, and you don't have to stoop awkwardly to clear doorways. The Forearm Forklift also helps you move objects over sensitive floors--such as wood, vinyl, or tile--without the same risk of causing scuffs or damage. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Tool for Moving
We used the Forearm Forklift this past week to move to another house. We own a lot of large furniture and the Forearm Forklift really came in handy especially for moving bulky, awkward items. This was especially true for matresses, a china hutch, couches, bookcases, etc.If the item you are moving doesn't have strong legs or give (e.g., a mattress) it really is best to crisscross the straps underneath the item to make sure you keep your grip on it.

It was nice to have the Foream Forklift in addition to a dolly as there are many items that one can't move easily with a dolly (upright or piano). We won't move again without these and will be buying them for any friends who will be moving.

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW! great item!
The forearm forklift is TRULY revelutionary! i recently moved my family of 5 from one 3 story home to another.I could not have done it without the forearm forklift! This product was incredibly easy to use, steady as a rock, and really made the move almost effortless.
I see in one other review that one woman did not care for this product.I think, perhaps she was using it incorrectly (not sure how, it sure doesn't take a rocket scientist!). With proper use, (and maybe a bit of common sense) I'm positive anyone would LOVE this product.
BUY IT NOW AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

5-0 out of 5 stars Strong, secure and fast
We bought these to help deliver furniture at my store. They're great for all of our inventory, even the super heavy stuff. In fact, they make it feel lighter.???
FYI-for furnishings with legs, we just put them underneath. But, for the flat bottomed pieces we cross the straps once underneath and we've never had them slip out. They're even good on stairs.
Not only do they keep our dollies off our cust.'s floors, but they also work to get in and out faster.Use them if you can.I recommend them cause they work! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the money
Worth the extra money it costs comparded to other bags. This bag is built heavy duty. I have tried several other tool bags and this one works the best.
Pros: Will not tip over in van, Tools are easy to find, built strong, nice carry strap, Zipps closed (keeps others out of bag).

Cons: price, heavy, can't store as many tools as other bags.

The fact that I can't store as many tools as my other bags turned out to be a good thing. I found that I was dragging around a lot of tools I forgot about or didn't need.

Great Bag - a recommended buy!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE CADILLAC OF TOOL BAGS
THIS IS A REALLY GREAT BAG AND A GREAT ORGANIZER FOR YOUR TOOLS.I'VE BEEN THROUGH QUITE A FEW TOOL BAGS AND NONE OF THEM COME CLOSE TO THE QUALITY AND CRAFTSMANSHIP BROUGHT TO YOU BY THIS BAG. THERE IS NONE LIKE IT!

5-0 out of 5 stars THE FERRARI OF TOOL CARRIERS
I decided to spring for a Veto, and I spent part of this evening moving all my hand tools into the new bag -- the model XL, for a $120.

I cleaned everything from a Husky bag (the $35 one from HD), and still had room to spare, even though it is way more compact than the Husky.

For that kind of money, you'd expect the thing to be well made -- and it is. Head and shoulders above anything else I've seen -- CLC, Bucket Boss stuff, the HD Husky bags, etc. Only time will tell how it holds up, but it looks like something you would end up handing down to your kid.

But what impressed me most was the careful thought that went into its design. There is a nice combination of smaller pockets for specific tools -- torpedo, channelock, etc -- and wider pockets that will hold two or three pliers, for instance. Each side is identically configured with pockets. There's a 2-3" kind of tray at the bottom of the bag on each side, which is just long enough to comfortably fit a hammer, Wonder bar.

At first, I didn't see the logic of the zippered cover on each side. The bag has a slightly triangular shape (when looking at it from the end), and when the flaps are zippered up, it is really easy to carry -- no tools hitting the side of your leg, doorways. the handle is big and substantial, and they also provide a heavy duty shoulder strap.

You really have to load this thing up with your tools to appreciate it.

EDIT:I bought this bag last November and have been using it hard for about four months now.It has held up extremely well -- nary a sign of the wear and tear it has been through.

Functionally, I would say it has worked out even better than I expected it would. After you use it for awhile, you start to remember which tool goes in which pocket -- and from that point on, it is very quick and easy to find particular tools. No rummaging around in a tool box.

I still very highly recommend this tool bag. ... Read more
