    Editorial Review

Cleverly called the Forearm Forklift, these handy adjustable lifting straps make carrying heavy and hard-to-handle furniture and appliances remarkably easy. Using the Forearm Forklift, two people can carry large, heavy objects at a low center of gravity, only inches off the ground. As a result, you don't have to bend way down to pick up the object, and you don't have to stoop awkwardly to clear doorways. The Forearm Forklift also helps you move objects over sensitive floors--such as wood, vinyl, or tile--without the same risk of causing scuffs or damage. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great Tool for Moving
We used the Forearm Forklift this past week to move to another house. We own a lot of large furniture and the Forearm Forklift really came in handy especially for moving bulky, awkward items. This was especially true for matresses, a china hutch, couches, bookcases, etc.If the item you are moving doesn't have strong legs or give (e.g., a mattress) it really is best to crisscross the straps underneath the item to make sure you keep your grip on it.

It was nice to have the Foream Forklift in addition to a dolly as there are many items that one can't move easily with a dolly (upright or piano). We won't move again without these and will be buying them for any friends who will be moving.

5-0 out of 5 stars WOW! great item!
The forearm forklift is TRULY revelutionary! i recently moved my family of 5 from one 3 story home to another.I could not have done it without the forearm forklift! This product was incredibly easy to use, steady as a rock, and really made the move almost effortless.
I see in one other review that one woman did not care for this product.I think, perhaps she was using it incorrectly (not sure how, it sure doesn't take a rocket scientist!). With proper use, (and maybe a bit of common sense) I'm positive anyone would LOVE this product.
BUY IT NOW AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

5-0 out of 5 stars Strong, secure and fast
We bought these to help deliver furniture at my store. They're great for all of our inventory, even the super heavy stuff. In fact, they make it feel lighter.???
FYI-for furnishings with legs, we just put them underneath. But, for the flat bottomed pieces we cross the straps once underneath and we've never had them slip out. They're even good on stairs.
Not only do they keep our dollies off our cust.'s floors, but they also work to get in and out faster.Use them if you can.I recommend them cause they work! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars overpriced and low usability
as a professional carpenter, a good set of bags is essential. unfortunately, these are not it. they are light, which is a postive, but they are weak. holes in the pockets and ripped stitches are the main dissapointment. the belt stretches out after a month or so. they are set up ok as far as pocket placement, but they are way too bulky. i find myself twisting around trying to get to the back side of the bags. i have owned and tryed to use these now for 1-1/2 years, mostly to try to justify the expense... the dead on bags are on their way out. i will try the occidental cordura bags and continue my search for a set of bags... ... 1-0 out of 5 stars terribly disappointing
I do not usually write any kind of product reviews online but after having spent $60 on kneepads only to suffer through a two week install I feel compelled to prevent others from making the same mistake as I.The entire premise of this pad is flawed in that the gel packet is not fixed inside of the cap allowing it to move out of place and then the packet itself has little channels in it so the gel stuff moves away from the point of greatest load where you need the protection most. After about five minutes on your knees, the gel has oozed off to the side, the neoprene (completely stretched out after two weeks use) has allowed the exterior plastic cap to slide over as well, and your knee is wedged against the edge of the plastic cap.I had very high hopes and was terribly disappointed.

1-0 out of 5 stars Patella Pain Pads
I am an avid weekend carpenter and like to wear knee protection to help save wear and tear on my knees. I recently wore out a $17 pair of basic knee pads from my local supply store. I had heard about these Patella pads and thought I'd give them a try. They are pricey, but if comfortable, that would be OK. I have to tell you that these pads have a serious design flaw. The gel pads do not stay in position during use. The strap system they have looks great with nice velcro strips, but they are not effective in holding the pads in place. Plus, the abrasion on the back of your legs is more painful that not wearing knee pads at all. Save some cash and buy the G3 Ultra gel pads, or the basic $17 ones from HD, both are far better than these Patella pads.

1-0 out of 5 stars Pads someone's pocket
Fluid Forms 1002F Patella T knee pads are one of the most disappointing purchases I have made. The pads slide from side to side and slip top to bottom.Because I am on a fixed income I try to purchase the "best" but I sure was fooled this time.In addition to crawling around alot, I also fall often due to MS and I count on knee pads to take some of the impact. My previous pair of twenty dollar pads peformed vastly better.Someone send postage and you can have them.Me, I'm headed for town to buy another twenty dollar pair. ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Best Knee Pads Around
My husband is a carpenter, and has found himself not doing things that would require him to be on his knees. He suffers from digerative arthritis in both knees and has so much pain when he kneels down. With these knee pads his knees are no longer aching at the end of the day, and he can do things again that he hasn't done in months. I would recommend these to anyone, they are well worth the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars We are not all giants!!!
I am proud and grateful to say,"I wear Patella knee pads." I purchased my first pair two years ago, I wear then 10 hours a day, 5 days a week. I build custom log homes, and from the ground setting up, to the car decking finish, Patella keeps my knees safe and comfortable. But,,,, I'm only 5'6",140#, with a 28" waist, ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL!!! I can wrap the straps around my leg twice, I just barely get the velcro to stick. I have to wrap electrical tape around them to keep them fastend where I want them. Please! Please!!, Make a smaller size.

    Keep up the good work;

1-0 out of 5 stars DONT BUY THESE OVERPRICED PIECES OF JUNK
i thought for how much money these cost and how much"technology" was supposed to be in these things they would be great. they suk. $20 rubber knee pads are 100 times better. these patella knee pads dont fit well, dont stay in place, slide down and hike my pant legs up, are bulk, and hurt when u kneel all teh way. the straps are so huge they kill the inside of your knees and the cups dont sit right on the patella. the cups are always rolled to one side or the other prob causing the damage tehy are meant to stop. ... Editorial Review

Ironclad has given hands a new lease with their high-tech approach to glove design. Ironclad gloves are made to protect workers' hands better than other work gloves, without feeling clumsy the way so many work gloves can. The first thing we noticed about these gloves is that they're tailored to fit the natural curve hands have in a resting position, rather than being cut straight, so when the hand isn't working, it can actually relax without the glove pulling the fingers in an uncomfortable direction. The palm of this general-utility glove is made of Amara, a synthetic material that mimics the resilience, grip, and comfort of suede while remaining machine-washable and resistant to water damage. High-wear areas are reinforced with tough DuraClad fabric, making these the toughest grip gloves we've ever worn. The fingertips are also reinforced, yet we had no problem with dexterous tasks like picking up coins. We also like the cut of the cuff on these gloves. It comes in tight to the wrist to prevent dirt or other materials from pouring in. Why so many other gloves have gaping cuff designs is a mystery. While the gloves themselves won't be damaged by water, they won't keep your hands dry for long if you're working in really wet conditions. But that can be said of most work gloves, and everything considered, Ironclad gloves are some of the toughest, most comfortable, and easiest-to-work-in gloves we've tried. --Brian Trinen ... 5-0 out of 5 stars Don't Lose Your "FEEL"
These gloves fit tight to the skin while increasing your grip and providing some protection. The key here is to wear the right glove for the job.If I am handling something sharp, I'll wear something heavier than these.Perhaps the only flaw is in the labeling that these are Heavy Utility.

I've been using these as a general work glove for a year now and love the fact that I still have some "feel" with these.I plan on picking up the framer style for situations that require more finger dexterity.

5-0 out of 5 stars Can't go without them!!!
My gloves (Ironclad IC-0300GRBYU-S) that I have had and used regularly since 2000, have grown legs and walked off!!!I can't believe it.After almost 5 years of use, they leave me!!!

So I am buying another pair just like them.I have used the gloves a lot and they stand up to to anything.Highly recommended.

4-0 out of 5 stars Fits like a glove!
I was the first to try these gloves out now everyone in our crew uses them and now so does the loading dock/mail room. We don't do any really heavey construction so for us they work out well. Even the terry cloth on the top side of the thumb comes in handy to wipe the sweat from the brow. My first 2 pairs fit fine and were great. My 3rd pair had some glue on the inside holding down the thread which rubbed against my palm and was quite bothersome but it wore and before long I didn't even notice it. I have used these for minor construction to working on equipment with small screws. Even if your hands get soaking wet the gloves still fit well where a full leather glove has a tendacy to stretch and want to fall off. I am ordering 10 more pairs right now! ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars More clock, please!
I like this radio a lot. It has good sound, maybe even a bit too rich for when I'm trying to doze off. It doesn't take up a lot of space on the bedside table. It looks quite "now-tro" (see "A Mighty Wind" if you don't know what I mean) with its wood sides and aero shape. It makes a lovely yellow glow. And I love the "humane" alarm that gets gradually louder.

    My 2 quibbles:

    1. It's hard to tell the buttons apart by feel, so it takes me longer than I'd like to turn off the alarm.

    2. After the radio has been on for a few seconds, I'd really like it if the display changed from the tuner to the clock. I don't like having to look somewhere else for the time. But I'm getting used to it. I'll be OK, don't worry.

5-0 out of 5 stars Q Radio and LCD Problem
I have had this radio for over a year, and I like it a lot.But it did have the problem described in an earlier review, in that the LCD display failed after a year and the radio became unusable.Sangean USA replaced the radio even though it was out of warranty, which was great, but was also a indication that the radio has a recurrent problem.I am planning to buy another one, but wanted to assure that the problem would not recur.I emailed Sangean, and they acknowledged the problem in earlier production units. They say it has been fixed for later production units, so according to Sangean the design problem has been resolved.

3-0 out of 5 stars Sangean PR-D2 , Not bad, Not great
This radio looks great. I really liked the style. However, that's about all I really liked. Another reviewer compared the sound to the Bose Wave radio. Either they've never heard the Bose or they were just really happy with the price comparison. At high volumes the radio sounds ok but at lower volumes it sounds like it play from inside a cardboard box. I could live with that but my real disappointment was with the tuning. I live in the mountains where radio reception is difficult. Usually "PLL Synthesized Digital Tuning for rock stable reception of AM/FM" is exactly that.
