a nice idea, but.....
i bought this tool for small jobs, so i didn't have to lug around a compressor, hoses and brad nailer just for 5-20 minutes of work. one thing i like about it is the nails come pre-painted brown or white, so, in some cases, you don't have to fill the nail holes with putty.
ok, now the bad things. first, it doesn't sink the nails. i thought at first it was just the oak i was using, but then i tried it in pine and it still didn't sink the nails. i , occassionally, can force the brad nailer to sink the nails if i firmly hold it with both hands and put all my weight on the nailer, but doing this overrides the no-marr tip and the firing mechanism leaves a dent on the work. second, it doesn't get into corners and the safety will only let it fire if the nailer is perpendicular to the work, so you still have to hand nail to finish the job. third, it has a very, very short cord; i think it's about 10." you need an extension cord, even if there is an outlet 2' away from the work area. arrow has since introduced a newer version of this "brad nailer" that has fixed most of the problems this unit has: longer, 10' cord, sinks the nails, drives up to 1 1/4", etc....
i gave it 3 stars because it's still easier to use this tool to set nails and drive them home with a hammer, than it is to drag out the compressor, etc. it's a light-duty tool only and should only be expected to acheive light-duty results.

After getting tendonitis after using the manual heavy duty Arrow Staple Gun to secure kraft faced fibreglass insulation in my new workshop I decided to try the Arrow Electric Nail Gun. Beaded 4X8 paneling and pegboard would need small nails (or brads) to secure the material while the Liquid Nails was drying.

I didn't want to buy a compressor and a pneumatic nailer so I looked for something that would serve my purposes and do other woodworking tasks that required finishing nails and brads. The Arrow Electric Nail Gun was exactly what I was looking for. Aside from being a little heavy it worked flawlessly as soon as it was plugged into the wall. No jamming, no kickback, no sweat! Really Useful Gadget If Cabling is Your Thing
I install Electronic Security Systems & I find this tool invaluable, saves time, Its finished appearance is neat
& it doesn't cost the earth :-)

Ohh & if a piece of it breaks, you can get spares for it too!

Great timesaver ... a must for professionals
If you run a lot of coax, you need this tool.I install cable television, so needless to say, I run a lot of wire during the day.This tool cuts the time it takes me to run a line almost in half.Instead of hammering in individual staples, just point and shoot.Pretty much the only surfaces it won't staple into are metal, asbestos siding, and concrete/stucco.I only wish it could hold more staples at a time.It's also a little on the pricey side, and I almost didn't buy it because it's so expensive.But having used it, I'd say it was definitely worth the investment.It's earned a permanent place in my tool belt. ...
