Works good for the price
We just purchased (8/24/03) this for our newly remodeled kitchen. Hubbie installed it above the 'baking center'. At first we thought we had a 'lemon', but then realized that this fixture (has a transformer) takes about 3-5 seconds to turn on after you flip the light-switch. Duh! Kinda like a fluorescent fixture...it takes a little bit to warm up.
The instructions provided are very confusing and say something about a 'quick connect' box, but there was nothing like that on ours. Provides great amount of light for the area we need and looks great too. We were thinking about installing one above the sink, but will use something else because we want light 'immediately' over this area. ... Read more
