5-0 out of 5 stars great shelves
I loved these shelves in my garage. They are easy to assemble and hold a ton of stuff. Also amazon has the best price for them and they come right to your front door.Who can beat that?
I say if you need some storage get these.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great shelves for a great price
I have these shelves in many areas of my home. They work great for holding up heavy items, and they are 24" deep ... which makes them perfect to hold alot of the various storage containers on the market.A major difference between Rubbermaid & all the other shelves out there is that these shelves have more rounded edges, so there is less scratching when trying to reach for stuff in the dark of our shed.Other shelving seems to have a lot of sharp edges just waiting to gouge when you're least expecting it.These shelves still have some sharp spots, but 90% less than other brands

5-0 out of 5 stars Best shelves ever!!
I couldn't believe how easy these shelves snapped together, and also how much they hold. The only problem I had was with the "free shipping" option. The shelving units were wrapped in plastic secured with flimsy tape, and two of the packages fell apart and arrived with several of the connectors missing.Had to contact Rubbermaid to replace them.Problem was with the packing, not the units themselves.Would definitely recommend the shelves, but not the free shipping for this type of item. ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Handy little workhorse
I've had this particular model for the past 9 years and it works great. Someone else said that the tools don't lock, but mine do and they always have. All of the tools are still in great working condition, nothing is broken, and I use it pretty heavily as a stage technician. I truly consider myself a Leatherman girl (over Gerber anyday), and this tool is great for someone like myself who has smaller hands, but needs a good amount of tools to get the job done. I recently upgraded to the Blast only because I need some more tools in my Leatherman after all these years.

2-0 out of 5 stars too expensive
i bought a similar stainless multi-tool at wal-mart for $6!!! the knives aren't near as sharp, but it does have a better wrench. also have a wenger.... great quality but expensive.

Editorial Review

We think they call it "Legend" for good reason: You'd be hardpressed to pack this many tools into the space that the Gerber Legendtakes up. Inside this impressive little package, you'll have access tono fewer than 12 tools, including tungsten carbide-steel blades. Allthe hardware is stainless steel, mounted on a nickel-coated die-castaluminum handle set that feels like it was made for your hand. Thezirconium nitride hard wire cutter insert has three edges, and it'sreplaceable, so you'll never be without a laser-sharp edge. The Legendincludes the wire cutter, a combination edge and serrated drop-pointknife blade, scissors, can opener, hack saw, Phillips, small, medium, and large screwdrivers. Each stainless-steel component snaps into placewith a solid locking system. We think it's the perfect pocket tool.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars only a little better than a rock
In one month of use, this knife broke in four places. I sent it back with a few suggestions like "The metal seems a bit brittle, perhaps something that bends first..." Althouth Gerber quickly replaced the knife, they included a note to me with the phrase "Your concerns are not a reflection of our product." With this level of both customer care and commitment to improving their products, Gerber fails miserably. I Therefore consider this tool only a little better than a rock. I threw out the knife (not wishing to share the pain of owning it) and bought a Leatherman which I have been unable to dent in 3 months.

5-0 out of 5 stars best tool ever made
This multi tool is so good that I had to think to myself is this for real! The tool is almost half the original price and I say worth every penny for the whole price. The scissors cut through my jeans, the spring loaded pliers are great, and the locking mechanism is wonderful. It is perfect for my big hands and is light too. Lastly the wire cutters cut through anything as well as the remgrit saw blade which is REPLACEABLE!This tool is the best off all time and I would recommend this tool to any heavy duty worker. I love it and I think you will to.

2-0 out of 5 stars The Gerber 600 is much better
I bought this for my boyfriend and promptly returned it.I was getting it for him to replace his lost 600.The things that we did not like about this tool were:
1) cheesy black grippy things that looked like they were going to come off if wet, and
2) you can't do the cool thing where you hold the multitool, flick your wrist, and the pliers extend with a satisfying little snap!
It's also a bit larger than the 600, so unless you have big pockets or don't care about size, you might want to go for the more compact 600. ... Read more

The 2x4 Basics workbench assembles to any size and fits anywhere. Shops and garages come in all shapes and sizes, and as a consequence, standard prefabricated workbenches are often too big or too small. This workbench customizes to fit any space. Featuring a comfortable 36-inch-high work surface and large under-bench storage shelves, the workbench is super easy to assemble--you just add any length lumber you want. Better yet, all you do is make simple straight cuts--no miters, no angles. The result is a customized, rugged workbench that's capable of holding up to 1,000 pounds per shelf. And because it's so versatile, you can also use it as a hobby table, power-tool stand--you name it. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great product
Using one workbench kit and two sets of shelf links I reorganized my entire garage in one weekend.

Total cost about $100 for the components plus $300 for the wood - great deal.

I'm ordering more shelflinks right away for my workshop.

5-0 out of 5 stars Rick
Very solid and sturdy.Fairly easy to build as well.Be ready to spend an additional $40 to $100 for lumber depending on quality and design.Still a good deal for a solid workbench.I built mine to be 4' by 8' and used 3/4 inch BC plywood for work surface. It's big but had to make minimal cuts to lumber. If you have the room, your workbench can never be too big.

5-0 out of 5 stars This is a great kit -- read the description!
We've been looking to buy another one of these and are really glad to find it here.We put together one with heavy duty plywood sheets for a huge, sturdy worktable, and it works terrific.

Read the description. The kit is adjustable and you PROVIDE YOUR OWN LUMBER.It plainly says that.Plus, take a look at the weight. There could be no lumber in the kit. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Plenty of power here
This is a homeowner's dream.I've been looking at the Milwaukee, DeWalt, etc. cordless combos for years but I could not justify the price for my week-end warrior needs. This kit gave me reasonably well-made and well-powered tools at a price I could afford. My son and I built a real tree-house (8x10, 10 ft. high!) over the Thanksgiving using these tools with no problems. The tools all performed and held up well through that 40 hour project. I was glad to have the cordless feature up in those trees 200 feet from the nearest electric outlet. You really do need to cycle the batteries a few times before you get the max life out of them, but the one hour charger does exactly that.I'm also a fairly slow worker(nobody's paying me), so that I rarely needed a new battery before the charging one was ready and if I did, that was a good time for a break (like I said, nobody's paying me for this work).I can see where a professional would need more run-time.

If I were using these tools everyday, I'd shell out for the professional brands, but for my needs they are just right for the price.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent cordless tools
Used this kit many times.Good tools & good battery life. One battery did 10 cuts on 2X6 lumber, then drilled four 1.25" holes with a paddle bit on the drill.Batteries must be charged & completely discharged several times before they have their full power.

3-0 out of 5 stars Maby-
I bought this kit about 3 weeks ago. Do not buy the cordless circular saw.I could only cut a pice of plywood about 20x30 inches on one charge. The drill has only 1 drawback- the cruck is strange and when you try to grab it to tighten down, it slips out of your hand.Flashlight is increadibly bright. The sawzall is nice, but my Craftsman sawzall can out perform it.This kit might be nice for a home owner, but for saws, go corded.

Hope this Helped- ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Know your purpose--not for doggy toes
I bought this tool from another company as a dog nail grinder. However, there are other Dremels better suited for this purpose. Also the product specs on Amazon are not always correct--double check first on the Dremel web site. This tool is currently spec'ed for 10K and 20K rpm. For puppy dogs slower is better as the friction is less and the nail does not get hot as quickly. Best tool would be something around 5K rpm. I think that's the slowest they sell. Some reviewers complained about the 8000-01 Lithium-Ion Cordless so maybe the 7800-02 9.6V Cordless MultiPro® is a good bet, though I have seen good reviews on the 750-02 MINIMITE® Cordless Tool however it's slow speed is 6500. BTW, specs for the 761-01 Pet Nail Grooming Kit are not online at Dremel so I can't confirm if the Amazon specs are correct, you need the owner's manual to do that. Thanks! and Good Luck!!

5-0 out of 5 stars An incredibly useful tool that even I can use without mishap
I'm not what you would call a handy sort of fellow; a few years ago, my greatest handyman-type success was the successful changing of a light bulb.Five years ago, I had never even heard of Dremel; now, I wonder how and why anyone goes through life without a handy-dandy Dremel tool.A few years ago, I got it in my head that I wanted to build my own working versions of Tom Servo, Crow T. Robot, and Gypsy of Mystery Science Theater 3000 fame.Such a project involves some tool-oriented activity, so for the first time in my life I found myself looking at tools.Since I know nothing about tools, I went about my business trying to look like I knew what I was looking for.I think every man responds to the siren call of the hardware department at some point in his life, but not until I found myself looking at a selection of Dremel products did I feel a strange lump of excitement in the pit of my stomach; tool anxiety had suddenly turned into tool excitement, and I gleefully returned home with this Dremel Multipro Cordless kit - feeling quite manly, I might add.

Exactly what does this thing do, you ask?Dude, what doesn't it do?It slices, it dices - no, wait, that's not right. This Dremel tool carves, it grinds, it polishes, it sands, it cuts, it brushes, it drills, it does darn near everything. It comes with 50 accessories in the form of abrasive wheels, drill bits, wire brushes, polishers, engraving cutters, router bits, and cutting wheels.I, being born with a passive tool-user gene, can't really tell what each accessory piece does just by looking at it, but I'm sure most halfway intelligent people can.I have fun just trying to figure it all out. What I needed at the time I bought my Dremel kit was a little sander tool, and even I could recognize the accessories made for that purpose.I soon had my proto-Tom Servo head free of jagged edges and was ready to delve further into my little project; this was just the first of many little Dremel success stories in my suddenly tool-enabled household.

The tool itself is a portable two-speed unit that comes with its own battery and charger.Whenever you get through using it, just plug it back up to let it recharge, and it's ready to go the next time you need it.It is light-weight and allows for different grips, helping to ensure you can pretty much reach whatever little space you need to get to with it.This model has two speeds - 7500 and 15000 rpm. That's pretty darn fast, and that high speed combined with the unit's low torque makes life pretty simple for you - the tool does all the work for you, making this the perfect tool for weaklings such as myself. Now, if you're into some heavy-duty work, the Dremel tool may not meet all of your needs, but for many odd jobs around the house and all manner of hobby activities, a portable Dremel tool is the way to go.

I must say that the documentation that comes with the kit is quite impressive and does actually describe each accessory and its proper uses.Of course, my being a man, I don't think it's legal for me to read a manual, so I just get by on instinct and luck. The kit also comes with a colorful little book telling you all sorts of jobs you can do with your new Dremel tool - if you have a significant other, you might want to keep this kind of information away from her/him.Even if you do get stuck doing odd jobs your better half would never have conceived of without the insight of the Dremel documentation, at least you can be comforted by the fact that you will have a lot of fun playing with your new essential Dremel tool.

4-0 out of 5 stars Cordless version has quirks - but does great job
Good: high speed+abrasive wheel cuts through ANYTHING, light durable feel when using, vast array of bits makes this a jack of all trades from cutting to polishing.

Bad: battery pack does not last very long, On/Off Switch is not definite (safety concern?), needed to buy 2nd battery pack while working a a bathroom project

This is NOT a drill.I see other reveiwers complain about this.If you want torque buy a light-dimming 12Amp Milwaukee Power Drill. The Dremel is an abrasive tool.If used intelligently it will do ALMOST anything you ask it to. ... Read more

The bib material is A OK but the quick release buckle was of very poor quality and will not stay closed. I am currently looking for another buckle that I can have someone with a heavy duty sewing machine will replace.

5-0 out of 5 stars Better Than A Belt For DIY
I had the lesser version until the hammer loop broke, then I ordered the 'Big Dog'.I found this version to be much better. There are two hammer loops, multiple screwdriver pockets, six big pockets, and adjustible straps. This apron is easy to put on, and take off. When, and if, this apron breaks, I will quickly purchase another.

If you are used to a belt, this will take some time to get adjusted to, but it is far superior, for small jobs. ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Listed weight capacity not accurate - not even close
Product literature says this model can hold 275lbs, which is why I bought it.Was using it to ease a 70lb. camera case down a short flight of stairs, very slowly, when wheel cracked and broke midway down.Bad plastic construction of crucial components mean this was a waste of my money.Only used it five times before it broke, never with load greater than 80 lbs., and always took excellent care not to jar it over curbs, steps, etc.The only great feature of this product is its flatness and light weight. Dont use it for anything that weighs more than your cat.

2-0 out of 5 stars Get the new model
Convenient to use BUT the set-up, which looks obvious enough is quite tricky. I brought mine back to the store here in Paris- broken after one try at assembly. I spoke to the salesperson who brought me to a room with a wall lined with broken "Faultless" RuXXac's- all with the same problem. He showed me the new model with a gear mechanism that seems to make set-up easier.Stay away from the older model which is unfortunately still for sale.Hopefully, mine will be replaced with the newer model. ... Editorial Review

You'll get great results with this Black & Decker heavy-duty Edge Hog landscape edger, one of the easiest-to-use pieces of equipment we've come across. You'll be thrilled with how quickly you can get to work, as assembly takes only a few minutes. This is an electric model, so you'll need an extension cord and an electric outlet handy, but you won't have to deal with gas or oil. And it's so quiet you can edge at any time of day--even early Saturday mornings--without worrying about waking up the neighbors.

We found the Edge Hog has plenty of power in its 2-1/4-horsepower motor for both edging and trenching, and it's easy to switch from one to the other by simply raising or lowering the edge guide. The edger weighs only 12 pounds, which allows for easy transportation and great maneuverability around curved paths, but makes it more difficult to maintain a straight line when you're tackling a lawn that hasn't been edged in a while. If you're digging out quite a bit of dirt along with the edge you're creating, it takes some effort to keep the unit stable.

Undoing a screw toward the front of the edger and raising or lowering its leading wheel easily adjusts the depth of the edge groove you're making along with your edge. The unit can also be adjusted to fit the height of the user more comfortably by changing the angle on the guide handle. The blade requires only a pull of the trigger to start instantly and, unlike many gas models, stops as soon as the trigger is released---an important safety feature. ... Read more

  • 30 day no-risk satisfaction guarantee and full two-year warranty

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent edger
If you don't want to deal with gas-powered edger, this is THE ONE.I used to have a gas-powered edger, it's just a hassle compared to an electric one.Excellent in trimming along flower beds. I know that long cords can be a hassle but smelling the exhaust of a gas-powered edger is even worse.Another thing is the motor is next to the blade, so the weight is on the ground, NOT on your shoulder!Very good edger!

5-0 out of 5 stars Makes lawn maintenance easier!
This edger is a major time and muscle saver over the manual ones I've used, such as the Rittenhouse edging and trenching tool (ASIN: B0002ZQGZQ). I still use the manual Rittenhouse to start new edging projects, but this electric edger is a dream come true for ongoing maintenance. My yard needs re-edging about every 6 weeks, so the time and energy I've saved since getting it is significant.

Assembling this out of the box is a two minute job. It's solidly constructed and it's obvious that B&D paid a lot of attention to both ergonomics and safety. It's well balanced, has an adjustable handle, and sports a heavy-duty electrical connection that includes a cord minder and an oversized, umbrella-like plug.

You can use this in either trenching mode or edging mode. I prefer the hand tool I cited above for trenching, but use this to do the initial outline or layout for new projects. The reason I still use the manual tool for trenching projects is the electrical motor in the Edge Hog is pretty powerful and there are a lot of subsurface rocks in my area. I don't want to risk prematurely shortening the cutting blade's life, or - worse - causing injury or damage from flying rocks. This unit is that powerful.

Aside from the features mentioned above, the price/performance of the Edge Hog makes it an excellent value.

If you want to maintain a nicely manicured lawn (and have access to outside electricity) this tool is as effective as gas powered units I've used, and a lot more economical to operate.

As always, I doesn't mean me.

5-0 out of 5 stars Easy to use ... Professional result !
I started to care for my lawn again after a hiatus of many years. Bought a new electric mower from Sears (made for them by B&D) and a manual edger similar to a Sears item I bought many years ago.

My overgrowth at the edges was substantial so I really had to labor with the manual edger. Lots of elbow grease but I managed to dig a decent "trench" at the paving. For the future, however, I definitely wanted something automatic.

I found the B&D Edge Hog here on Amazon and like with many products here I immediately jumped into the Customer Reviews. The 4+ star rating is exceptional for any product and after reading some glowing reports I took a chance on one.

In my first outing, I will admit to causing quite a few sparks against the concrete as I adjusted to using and aligning the tool. After my second outing, having the advantage of some experience and a nice "trench" already in place, plus the value of the edge guard, there was little sparking and the task was amazingly quick and easy. The resulting look equaled what I was receiving from a more professional (and expensive) landscaper who used a huge gas model.

My only problem is that I was unable to see the guide wheel from my vantage point in the rear of the edger. I compensated by using the guide imprinted on the front housing, above the hidden wheel. That was very adequate and the sparks rarely flew. My reserve blade will likely not be needed until deep into next year's cutting season, if then. It's a substantial blade, and in my view well worth the $7 cost.

I have neighbors with 2 in 1 trimmers (the kind with nylon rope) that can be oriented 90 degrees to act like an edger. I can't imagine preferring that over the Edge Hog's solid cutting blade.

Two year warrantees are not easy to come by these days and I was impressed by B&D's willingness to stand behind it that long, especially having just bought a SONY 27" WEGA TV for $450 and its 90 day labor "warranty".

To anyone on the fence about this product, I would add to what the others have said and say "Go for it!"

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Workhorse, Well Made - In The USA
This little workhorse is well made, easy to assemble, and simple to maintain. It's light weight and ease of handling make it a pleasure to operate for hours.None of the noise, hard starting and exhaust issues since it's electric.

I use it to till and de-weed my suburban garden areas and planter boxes (total about 2000 square feet, several times a year). If you currently use a shovel to turn soil (or an oversized gas tiller), this will be a welcome replacement (at $259, with free shipping).

This is a small tiller that it so easy to handle that it makes you want to push it farther and harder than what it is intended for.Just remember it's a small tiller, don't expect it to replace a 10hp or tractor mounted tiller and you won't be disappointed. It was never intended to till 10 acres a day, or to break concrete, so don't knock it if it can't.

5-0 out of 5 stars This little tille can really dig!
Two years ago I sold- really, gave away- a 2-stroke tiller that made a lot of noise and smoke, but didn't move a lot of earth. Every year, when it came time to prepare my garden, I ended up renting a 5HP Honda tiller that was really too big for my use, but that was the smallest usable tiller I could rent.

Around that same time a friend who's a professional landscaper told me he'd just bought a Mantis gas tiller, and that he was very pleased with it. He and his crew are pretty hard on equipment, so I assumed anything that could hold up to his crew must be welkl made; most of his gear consists of heavy 3-gang mowers, 12HP tillers and the like. I thought about getting a Mantis, but the price still seemed a bit high, and I was slowly getting rid of noisy, smokey gas powered garden equipment and replacing it with manual and electric equipment.

A few weeks ago I was thinking about buying a Remington tiller on sale, but after looking at it in detail, decided to bite the bullet and order the Mantis from Amazon. It was twice the cost, but it looked to be more powerful, and the Mantis tines looked as if they'd cut a lot better than the simple bent tines on the Remington. That, the free shipping, and that fact that Amazon was running a great sale on yard equipment clinched the deal.

The Mantis arrived today, and it only took me twenty minutes toi assemble it. (Hint to buyers: Watch the video first- or at least read the manual through before you start to unpack it.) I took it out to the vegetable patch and following the instructions, set the speed to the lowest setting and pulled the trigger.

The tiller jumped in the air and felt like it wanted to take off. It also rapidly dug a hole in the packed earth, slicing through the foliage like it wasn't there. I tried the higher speeds, and found that this little tiller can churn through earth like a 5HP gas unit- and best of all, it does it with no noise or smoke.

I spent an hour out there preparing the ground, clearing some new patches, digging out weeds, and preparing some areas for new grass seed. Frankly, I can't say enough good about this little beast. It'll pay for itself through saved rental fees in six years, but more importantly, it'll be there in my garage whever I need it through the year. I expect to be using it for years to come.

--

Update: Since writing my initial review, I've used my Mantis to till my girlfriend's vegetable garden and my own garden, which was overgrown with last year's plantings and herbs that had gotten out of control. I weed whacked the the existing plants, raked the surface, and then used the Mantis to dig out the roots. Another followup with the rake and I had a clean, tilled surface ready for planting.

Most impressively, I used it to dig up a thick patch of overgrown day lillies that proved almost impossible to dig out with a shovel. The Mantis just tore through the lily bed, tossing the bulbs to the surface. It encountered a dozen rocks in the 6-8" range buried in there as well, and tossed them to the surface, too. Amazing.

As for the reports from some reviewers of "bouncing": The Mantis won't bounce if you hold it firmly and let it dig its way into the ground. Once it's made a hole, pull it towards you and a moderate pace, and it'll make a beautiful tilled furrow. Rake it smooth and you're ready to plant.

4-0 out of 5 stars Love My Electric Mantis
After ordering the Mantis Electric Tiller, I was a bit skeptical about using an extension cord to till. However, I really love the Mantis tiller. It starts in a breeze, it is easy to take off the tines and clean them.
Naturally, you would not want to use this little tiller on previously untilled ground. And yes... it does bounce a lot, because it is so light and my ground even tho tilled is very rocky.
However, I deal with this and really enjoy my Mantis Elec.
I have had another tiller before that starts with a T and ends with a Y and really was quite put off by it.
Get a Mantis, you'll love it!!! ... Read more

Editorial Review

Packing 14 individual tools into a remarkably compact, metallic blue, anodized-aluminum body, Leatherman's cool new CS4--a.k.a. the Glacier--is a midsize member of the company's exciting, new Juice line of multitools. Only 3-1/4 inches long, and weighing a mere 5-1/2 ounces, the Glacier really is small enough to carry comfortably in your pocket. Like other Leatherman tools, the Glacier butterflies open, exposing the needle-nose pliers/wire cutters/wire stripper, with access to three flat-head screwdrivers, a Philips driver, and a lanyard attachment--the same tools you'll find inside Leatherman's KF4 Solar. The Glacier's handles, however, harbor a different combination of tools that are perfect for picnickers: scissors, a can/bottle opener, corkscrew, a saw, an awl, and a straight knife. Like the entire Leatherman's Juice line, the Solar positively snaps into the open position, and the individual tools are all made of high-grade stainless steel. The Juice multitools do lack the blade-locking mechanism found on Leatherman's Wave, but the blades click crisply into place and hold securely. 5-0 out of 5 stars Leatherman CustomerService, Take 2
Clearly, I owe the fine folks at Leatherman an apology.I had dissed Leatherman's customer service in a prior review (scroll down..), whining about a minor, self-induced problem.Come to find out, they (including the Main Man, The Head Honcho, The Connection - Tim Leatherman)had made several attemts to contact me in effort to address my complaint (whine), but all their attempts were deflected courtesy of my email blocker settings.Through their continued efforts they were able to contact me through other means.Sooo, here I stand, embarrassed for badmouthing such a fine company and terriffic product.Sorry.

The CS-4 and I remain inseparable - it's an integral part of my everyday life.In fact, I have gone on to purchase half a dozen or more as gifts for friends (including a Wave for myself), only I had them properly engraved/etched this time as recommended by the manufacturer.

Christmas is coming...

2-0 out of 5 stars CS4 tools needs improvement
We bought two of this because it looks so great in the review and advertisement. After using it for a month, there are some flaws, which should be improved to make it a practical tool. Does anyone know what's the awl for? To us, it is too blunt to be useful. It should have sharper edge so we can actually open envelopes, remove staples, etc. The set of screw drives is comprehensive but take care not to exert too much force on them especially the small one, the tip WILL BEND. Anyway, it was be repaired with the other CS4 :-). If you are a Swiss knife user, you will find the Philips screw tip drive too big for common screws found in the office. Also, you should be real careful about the blade, cause it is really sharp... it hurts but we love it. If you are not too fussy about the strength of the tool, go get it.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great little Multitool
I recieved this a gift and I can tell you that it's one of the best tools I've ever used. However, I do have two concerns. One is that the blades don't lock which means that if enough pressure is applied, it can hurt someone by folding in. As well, the saw has a tendency to fold onto the awl, I have to use quite a bit of force to make sure that it folds properly. However, the blade is really sharp and the screwdriver bits are the best I've ever seen. As well the tools open with a solid click which is somewhat reassuring. This tool is right for you if your looking for a small multi-tool that will be used for general not industrail use! ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars OK but not as good as the Garden Rocker
THis is simply a bench.I was much happier with the Garden Rocker, which is ergonomically designed has a more comfortable seat, and tilts with the body.It is ingenious!!!

5-0 out of 5 stars great for big people, too
Because of bad knees and because she is a larger lady, my mom has trouble getting up when she is doing weeding.I was concerned that the kneeler might not be wide enough for her to kneel on, but she said that it's really great and that she's very pleased with it.She said that it will be great for doing floor cleaning, too.I definitely recommend it, especially for people who have trouble getting up from being on their knees working on things.

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent Tool Kit For The Price!
This is a great tool set for the price. It is not designed for the repair shop mechanic in an everyday use situation, but is great for the casual user. The Companion line at Sears gives you much less for a lot more money. If you plan to use tools everyday at a repair shop, buy something with a lifetime guarantee like the Craftsman line.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great tool
This kit comes with everything you could need for a quick repair on your vehicle, other reviews said the tools were weak? they are incredibly strong and durable, great buy!

5-0 out of 5 stars Our Car Club loves these
I saw this awhile back on Amazon and had to buy it.I also recommended it to my car club on ClubRSX.com.We all bought them up to the point where it was out of stock on Amazon for a few weeks. We had a car meet where we needed these tools to work on our cars to modify them and they worked well. For $ bux, can't go wrong and it's all in one box.Handy and quick.Granted we're not rebuilding engines or some "heavy duty" work, but we were doing some moderate modifications like putting in new gaskets, cold air intakes, new head units, etc. These worked really well. Some of the sockets fall out easily, but that's ok.You get that with most socket sets except for the most expensive Craftsman ones (you get what you paid for).I later saw these in Pep Boys for $, so my car club is quite glad we snatched these up cheap. For $, how can you go wrong? ... 4-0 out of 5 stars Good idea though an odd design
Each time the lights go out due to a momentary surge in the
line, I smile to see this Panasonic spring into action.

The included wall-mount bracket proved to be an extremely
awkward configuration, so I chose to place the unit on a bookshelf opposite my bed. This location serves to camouflage
the side-mount power source/switch/pilot light, and also assures me that my bedroom won't be in darkness during an outage. And the front-facing fluorescent bulb isn't an eyesore on the shelf.

The unit can then be used as a portable, stand-alone source in
any area of need.

I have set it to come on automatically whenever there's an
interruption of power. And it has not ever failed in these
past 4 months. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Very good value.
Price and quality all the way. The only negative item would be no rip fence came with the cordless circular saw and I was unable to find it at any of the local hardware stores that I shop at. Other than that it is a very good value.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great 18 Volt tool kit
My kit is very similar but not quite the same it's theFSC618K-2

Anyway I've read some reviews that say the chuck on the drill can't hold a bit at all and its only real use is as an 18-volt screwdriver. I've run a 1/2" bit to the hilt into a 4X4 several times just to test it, and there was no slippage at all. I'm not really sold on the pop off chuck, but it has saved time when I was building some books shelves recently. But I would say that 280 lbs. of torque is plenty for most applications, but have to admit that I am a novice and use the drill/driver around the house. I've only had it a little over a month but have played around with it, and am very impressed with it. Especially when compared to most of the other 18 volt drill/drivers out there. The circular saw cuts 2X4 with no problem and I have used it to cut about 10, 1"X6 "shelf's to length with plenty of power left over. The Cut Saw is just cool. I haven't had time to use it much but in your hands it feels as if it has enough power to do just about anything you might need it to do. The vacuum is a step up from the basic dust buster does a fine job and has great battery life. The flashlight is bright and I've used it to drain the partially used batteries before recharging. My kit is a little different in that I do not have the laser level/stud finder or the work table and the tool bag looks smaller, but this is as close as to what I have as I could find. My kit included the Radio/charger FS100 Stud Finder The Drill Circular Saw, the Cut Saw Light and Vacuum. But other than that the kits are very similar. I bought four extra batteries and the fast multi-volt charger on E-Bay so in case I ever do get busy with the kit I'll be able to keep it powered. I would say you would have a hard time beating this kit for the performance and price (check E-Bay). Plus it's been fun to play with, and I've read DeWalt builds the Firestorm stuff. I am looking forward to putting it to a real test. But I'm sure it will pass any tests I put it through with flying colors.

5-0 out of 5 stars The tools make the man!
Someone once told me a man is only as good as his tool. Well, when I purchased the Black and Decker 7-tool combo kit I became a man and for a year I was king of the neighborhood. I had become the most respected carpenter in the project. I built four house that year and was going strong as I was branching out my business. Until one night I awoke to find some of my tools missing. I figured I must have left them on a job or something. The next day I searched for them but to no avail. The next night I woke and found the rest of the kit gone. The next night I burned the candle at both ends waiting to find the culprit. I had fallen asleep and felt something tugging at my underwear. I awoke and jump out of my seat when I found little gnomes racing through the house holding my underwear in victory. I pulled my best 007 and tracked them down in the crevices of the basement. There they were singing "We are the tool and underwear gnomes. We need lots of supplies to make it on our way. Big business is a freight train on a path to money right away."
I stood there alone and cold as a breeze went up my pajamas, begging for my atleast my hammer in trade for my silence. They simply told me it was my word, a middle aged working class man, against that of a GNOMES. I guess it was back to the drawling board, without a pen. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars This is the 18-volt drill to buy, in my opinion...
I have owned mostly DeWalt cordless tools for the past several years, including their 18v Hammer Drill/Driver.I bought this Panasonic on the recommendation of a good friend about six months ago --- I will never go back.

High Points:

- Excellent Run Time (the batteries are really amazing)
- Great Torque
- Comfortable grip
- Solid chuck that is easy to tighten sufficiently

Low Point:

- Panasonic needs to expand the line to include a solid jigsaw (can they please work with Bosch on this one...), a slick flashlight with an infinitely adjustable head angle, a circular saw, etc. so that I can relieve myself of all my yellow cordless tools...

I really believe that if you give this one a shot, you will not be sorry... except for when your friends' borrow it and will not give it back.

Enjoy!

5-0 out of 5 stars This thing is an absolute STEAL!
I recently purchased this tool, and I must say that it was the best money I ever spent on a single tool. Why should you buy this tool?Keep reading.

1) The NiMH battery is outstanding. It lays waste to any cordless drill battery out there. The only thing that even gets close is the Hilti TE-2A drill.Even then, this battery has 17% more amp hours than the TE-2A's NiMH.
2) Not only do you get that wonderful NiMH battery, but you also get a second one included in the package!
3) Two awesome batteries not enough?Through March 31, 2005 Panasonic will send you a 3rd NiMH battery for free through a mail in rebate.
4) Though the description doesn't seem to mention it, the drill comes in a fairly nice plastic case that includes your two batteries, the drill and the charger.
5) Powerful! It has devoured whatever I throw at it without complaining. This thing is a wolf, and it will take your arm off if you're not careful. The clutch is your friend.Use it!
6) Generally low maintenance. There is some plastic, but it's not the cheesy stuff. It's actually pretty solid and doesn't seem to get as scuffed up as some of my other tools.

I could go on and repeat what's already been said. But suffice it to say the only thing you're going to regret is that Panasonic doesn't make a whole lot more types of tools.

To be fair...I will mention some things that need improvement.Nothing is perfect after all.

1) Made in Mexico.Maybe it's better than China...but not by much.It seems pretty solid, but I wouldn't bet on it being around when I pass my tools onto my kid.Time will tell.
2) Heavyweight! When you put the battery on this guy it can be a load.I don't have a problem with this, but I'm not a small man either.Be forewarned that if you're not in good shape or you're slight of frame, this thing is going to wear you out.
3) Perhaps my only REAL complaint: The side handle flat-out sucks! If anything wears out on this drill, my money says it's going to be the flimsy tension strap that attaches the handle to the drill.I think this was Panasonic's idea of a joke.

I still can't believe I got all of this for under $300.Heck, the batteries are worth that! This is a STEAL!

5-0 out of 5 stars Cordless drill on steroids!!!
If you're looking for a great cordless drill, look no further! I've owned 18 volt DeWalt and Makita cordless drills before, and the Panasonic blows them both out of the water. The torque is awesome, and even more importantly, the runtime is by far the best I have ever seen! This Panasonic comes with 3.5 amp-hour batteries, with the competition just now offering 2.4-2.6 amp-hour batteries (with their base batteries less, often 2.0 or 2.2 amp-hour). On the job, I can go for a couple of days on one battery, whereas the other guys I work with have to change their battery several times per day. Also, the ergonimics are very nice, the balance is awesome. It is definitely more comfortable to use than the "other brands" that I have used. If you are truly looking for a star performer, look no further - power, runtime, ergonomics, case - this is the best cordless drill/driver that I have ever used!!! ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars My Experience with Zipka
I was very excited to have my Zipka at first, for all the reasons others mention here. Then I noted, as another reviewer did, that it seemed to eat batteries faster than advertised - but I still loved it. Then it began to misbehave. It began flashing and not turning on at various times - really cut my enjoyment. But still tolerable. Then one day I had it mounted on my bike helmet and it flipped off, falling to the ground and breaking in an unfixable way. I won't buy another - if they make one that's more robust and functions consistently, I'd be delighted. I'm going to try the Princeton Tec Aurora now. Hope this helps.

5-0 out of 5 stars Fantastic For Camping And Many Other Uses!
I purchased my first Zipka as a stocking stuffer for my husband, HOPING he would use it.It gets used all the time!Taking out the trash, in the workshop, as a book light, around the house and of course Camping! My whole family has since purchased them. The battery lasts forever and its a great way to tend the fire or cook without having to set up a lantern or other light source. Its light weight and durable too.Even my small cousins have them and they work great!

This light never dies due to its LED technology. It is not extremely bright but definitely bright enough for illuminating your path at night. It is great for power outages or camping.I feel much safer walking or jogging at night in my neighborhood.Light-weight, very good attachment mechanism. This product is a major improvement compared to the standard head lamp, to the point that everybody should have one.It is a perfect gift in that it is (1) reasonable price, (2) usable by anybody, (3) sufficiently different that people are unlikely to already have it, (4) truly useful/safety feature as opposed to worthless junk that is most gifts. ... Editorial Review

Are good blades worth the extra expense? Freud's done some impressive engineering and has come up with features that make these blades today's popular choice for woodworkers. The story on Freud blades is that the micrograin carbide/titanium tips stay sharp longer; the laser-cut body helps keep the hard steel blade flat and true; tri-metal brazing prevents cracks and failed joints; and the antikickback design ensures safer operation. While we may not understand the physics of these features, we do know these blades cut great and run quiet and chatter-free. They're Teflon-coated to reduce friction and heat buildup and to protect against rust, corrosion, and resin buildup. It's easy to imagine coaxing better performance and quality work out of older or underpowered saws with these Freud blades. Buying the blades in this three-pack is considerably less expensive than buying these popular blades separately. --Tim Block ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars First for me.
I have owned a Delta unisaw for 3 years.Hard maple is one of my main wood choices. After recieving these blades, I now understand how a rip blade differs from a cutoff blade.I used to get great cuts from my first Freud blade, but now, ripping butcherblock is effortless, and clean.I suspect during cabinet building with some of my cherry stock, the combination blade will be more a fixture in the saw, however, this weekend is time for prefinished oak flooring, where the 80 tooth finecut blade makes cuts as clean as...as it should be.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great blades for smooth cuts
The Freud R-Bladepack is one of the gifts I will be waiting for under the tree for Christmas. Whoever thought of making Teflon coated saw blades had a great idea. Personally, I think that this package is a great Christmas gift to give to anybody who has a 10" powered saw, whether it is at home or at work. The Teflon coating makes the cuts a lot smoother and more accurate. Most of the carpenters I know have recommended the Freud Teflon coated blades.

The Freud R-Bladepack will last you a looooong time. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for black furniture
Many years back I worked retail and the shelves in my store were all black and our district office always sent us these dusters to clean the shelves with. So, now many years down the road we refurnished our living room w/ black furniture and the first thing I did was go out and get one of these. It is the best thing ever for dusting! It leaves absolutely NO lint behind and works like a charm!

4-0 out of 5 stars Very Good
I purchased it about a year and half ago.It still does the job. However, I recently noticed that the duster does not work as well as in the beginning.

5-0 out of 5 stars Amazing longevity.Really works.
I bought one of these at a drugstore seven years ago (totally on a whim) and it is still working. It picks up huge amounts of dust from furniture, window sills, and most importantly to me, electronics.Requires no cleaning solutions, no refilling or replacing of pads or cloths--just give it a good shake (outside) once in a while to get rid of accumulated dust and you're in business.

I don't know what it's treated with but when it's new it WILL stain fabric if you leave it sitting for too long, so be careful there.I've had mine for so long now that that isn't an issue.I stored it in its plastic case for about 4 years until the case finally split in half, now I just hang it on a peg in our laundry room.

I swear I don't work for this company and I swear this is a great item. You won't be disappointed. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Rubbermaid Step Stool Tool Box - an essential!
For years I have traveled around the country showing horses. The Rubbermaid Step Stool Tool Box is an essential tool. I have one that holds my braiding supplies and one that holds my clipping supplies. The storage space inside the stool clears away the clutter and organizes all those small tools. And the fact that it's a stool gives short people like me a one-up! At home, I have one for gardening tools and small household tools. It's very convenient to have everything in one easy to carry tool-box, rather than having to carry everything PLUS a stool. I just pick it up and go!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great for fitness videos and storing weights
I use this stool when I do my Firm exercise videos. It's stable and doesn't tip over, plus it holds pairs of 10 lb, 8 lb, and 5 lb dumbbells as well as two pairs of ankle weights. It's a lot cheaper than other exercise steps.

4-0 out of 5 stars Tradesman (Electrician)
Rubbermaid makes the best tool carrier I've ever used! The tool box should have a place to hang a lock and be equipped with a retractable 120 volt cord complete with 2 utility outlets to plug into.As you carry thetool box the legs bang into your legs. This is a great product! ... Read more
