1-0 out of 5 stars plastic broke after two months
After two months, the plastic clip broke, making this clip light useless.I would not recommend buying this product. All of lights have plastic clips, and will undoubtedly break the same way.Since the product is trashed, there is no way to evaluate whether the light/battery/switch will actually last.A metal clip or more durable mechanism is advisable...but the manufacturer has continued to make it this way for a long time.

4-0 out of 5 stars Highly recommend this light
I bought some of these lights after seeing one a friend had.The bulbs come in several colors, but I like the blue one the best.Amber, red, and green are not as bright, and the color is distracting. Those colors would be okay for something like concerts or signaling or something. The white light seems to have a hot spot like most flashlights. The blue lights up the dark the same way a bright moon does on a clear night. It's bright enough to see very well in the dark, but without the hot spot that white flashlights give.

As far as lasting a lifetime, I don't think they mean that it will actually last a lifetime, but they do offer to replace battery and/or led free for your lifetime--with the standard handling fee, which ends up being about what it costs to buy a new one.I've had mine for several years now, and use them constantly.Mine are just now beginning to be hard to light; either the switch is getting worn or battery is getting low.I plan to send them back in, or just replace them with new ones, because I like them so much. They're well worth the price.A couple of mine have even been through the washer and dryer and still work (although the dryer deformed the plastic case a little). That's good to know if you plan to use yours in the outdoors--if you drop it in the water, it'll still work. The one thing that would make this light perfect, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it needs some way to turn it on permanently. As it is you have to keep the button pressed down to make it light.A great tool.Highly recommended!

5-0 out of 5 stars Great light
I bought one of these in October 2000. It is still going strong. I am not sure about lifetime, but so far it is still shining bright and doesn't show any signs of giving out. Like the other reviewer, I am going to buy a couple more to keep around the house. ... Read more

Editorial Review

Brink's brand-name security comes in a small package that fits just about anywhere--it needs only 5 inches of clearance. It's made of steel and comes with a quick-open digital lock that you set to your own three- to eight-digit numeric code. Two keys are also included. Users can bolt the safe into studs from the inside, so it's virtually theft-proof (thieves would have to take out your wall as well, and few have time for that!). It has a nice safety feature, too. If the wrong code is entered once, the digital system locks out for 20 seconds. A second error locks it up for five minutes, and a third blunder will shut the system down for an hour. At home, we can imagine stock certificates, cash, jewels, and even a handgun locked inside. At the office, cash and checks, documents, and valuables will all fit easily. It's a good buy for the money--and the peace of mind. --KrisJensen-Van Heste ... Read more

1-0 out of 5 stars Does Not Work In Drawer
I bought this safe to secure a handgun. It was supposed to be bolted to the inside of a drawer. The digital pad does not work inside a drawer(and I tried several different ones). The product was returned.

5-0 out of 5 stars I need a manual
Hi I lost my manual and would like to see if anyone can help me by telling me how to reset the passcode

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality
This safe is just what the ad says-it is a safe.It is meant to be secure and it is.Documents that are important should be in this safe.I feel it would be better used lying down just because that way nothing will fall out at you when you open it up.It is very heavy duty and the ability to set your own code should make it easy to remember. ... 3-0 out of 5 stars Not what I had hoped for.
I bought the smaller version a couple of years ago. Initially, all seemed well but one thing I did notice is that the pressure at the hose nozzle is reduced. Quite a bit really. So if you are used to blasting dirt from your vehicle, this won't happen once hooked to this rewinder. It does rewind and quite neatly, but there is a good deal of water used to accomplish this feat. Then, as time wore on, it began to leak. If you just leave the machine on the patio, hooked to your outside spigot, eventually, you will see wet spots on the concrete. As for being able to fix these leaks, forget it. So I'm going to sell mine and be the wiser for it. I don't mind rewinding by hand especially if the hose will be distributed evenly on the spool with some of the newer hose reels. Did like the fact that the hose was out of sight.

5-0 out of 5 stars worked even on well water
We have a well, vs being on city water like most people. We've had problems in the past with items that relied on water pressure (ex - timer for watering the lawn).Decided to try this a try, because I HATE rewinding hoses and they always end up as a mess on the reel.
For those of you that have our same problem, you'll be relieved to know it does indeed work!Because of the lower water pressure it does rewind a bit slower than other reviewer mention, but to me it is still worth it.200 ft of neatly rewound hose, without wearing out my arm!

1-0 out of 5 stars Defective!!
Used for one month in fall of 2003.
Drained all water out for storage.
Spring of 2004 when I hooked it up, water came from inside the reel.
Something is broken and I cannot find a parts amnual to get a replacement.
It appears as though a cap or plug came out and now the thing is worthless.
I did not get a return phone call from the 866-493-7638 number and when I called back the mailbox was full.
Help! Help! Help! or I'll telll everybody I can it's a piece of junk.

1-0 out of 5 stars Underpowered for hauling gravel, sand or dirt.
I purchased the LUVCart hoping that it would be a great tool for doing small jobs around the house such as moving pea gravel, dirt, and moving items back and forth from the house to my vehicle. However the LUVCart failed almost immediately after being purchased. The LUVCart is a great idea, and the plastic tub that holds material seems to be fairly well constructed. The weak point seems to be the motor and circuitry. The LUVCart only operated for me for less than an hour before it stopped working and would not restart. Even while it was in operation it strained under the very small load of pea gravel in its bucket, and the bucket was not even half full. The 5 cubic foot of material that the LUVCart is capable of handling is a wild exaggeration unless you only want to haul 5 cubic feet of grass clippings or dry leaves.

5-0 out of 5 stars I wouldn't have thought....
I got this cart for my birthday from my wife and kids. I'm 55 and do lots of yard work, and I consider myself an active person. When I got it, I laughed and thought..."here's one gift that's going to sit in the shed". It took about 20 minutes to put together and I started using that very day. I was just amazed at how the cart made my work so much easier. Over the last month I have moved stones, rocks, mulch, and dirt. I even used it to hall out trash from the shed to make room for my cart since I wanted to have easy access to it. It can stay tilted up on its own which makes it easy to store and dump things out. I get an entire weekend out of one charge and it doesn't even slow down. My cart has two speeds forward and one reverse, which I thought was a nice feature.

Who would have thought that I would be using this, but it really works well.

Editorial Review

Need a reliable straight line without spending a bundle? This is our choice. Granted, this laser’s not self-leveling, but it’s easy to level and does produce a dead-on accurate horizontal or vertical line. It attaches easily to a wall with either the magnetic hanging pin or the included drill anchor wall mounts. Because it’s a single pin hanger, adjustments are as easy as the touch of a finger. Nice storage bag keeps the tool clean and protected. Just the right tool for the homeowner who’s adding a chair rail, wallpaper border, shelving, cabinets, tile, or a host of other projects. You could spend more for a self-leveling unit, but we think this suits most homeowner’s needs.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

2-0 out of 5 stars Poorly designed, poorly engineered.
The purpose of this tool is to project a relatively long and straight laser line for alignment, construction, or what have you.As an engineer and general fan of Black and Decker's products, I was sadly surprised to find out that this product is neither useful or accurate.

The good news:
It runs on a 9v battery (cheap and easy to replace).Comes with two different mounting options in addition to the magnetic base.

The bad news:
1. The line is inconsistently bright along it's projected path.It seems about 2 to 3 times brighter in the center than on the far edges. This effect is disturbing because it's also thicker in the center. At the edges, the line is so dim that you need enhancement glasses (sort of like safety glasses, but red in color) to see it OR you have to use it in near total darkness.

2. The bubble levels inside the unit are too small, inaccurate, and not adjustable. When I placed this unit on my tablesaw (which was precisely aligned and leveled) it shows (incorrectly) that the saw is tilted about 2-3 deg. This is a huge problem and makes the unit difficult to justify. The owner's manual says that the levels are only calibrated to the laser line when held or hung up against a vertical surface.Okay, but what if you want to lay tile, place a fencepost, or align cabinets?

3. Mounting the laser to the wall requires drilling a hole. The base for wall mounting requires a small hole in the wall and as you rotate the base, three prongs expand out, temporarily locking the base to the wall. It's a pretty good system, but other manufacturers have systems that allow vertical surface use without drilling. It'd be a hassle to have to fill and paint the little holes constantly.

4. The bonehead that designed this did NOT for some unknown reason, make the sides square. So you cannot simply lie it on either side and expect a horizontal line...I'm lost on this one.Miserable engineering at it's worst.

In short, this unit is really only good at projecting a straight line.YOU have to level that line.Get a plumb bob or a 4' level, set this up and adjust the line it projects to level, then you're set. But, on the other hand, if you have a 4' level and plumb bob, all this unit provides is a simple, straight line, confirming your measurements.

Pros: Small, simple, 9V common battery power supply.Comes with case.

Cons: Not self-leveling.Must use other tools to adjust.Case not square.Cannot project line from a horizontal surface.

Even on sale for $20, it's hard to justify this product. It really only projects a line...and not even a straight one.A straight edge would work as well.

2-0 out of 5 stars Not what you think it is...
"It's my favorite tool" or so I told my kids when they gave it to me for my birthday. In reality, it is a basic laser pointer in a fancy package.Yes, it produces a straight laser line on the wall or floor, but you need to use a manual level to get it correct. It is difficult to hang on the wall and cannot be done without putting a small nail hole in a spot where you probably don't want one.Spend the extra money and buy a better mounting, self leveling and more accurate one if you need things to be absolutely perfect.

1-0 out of 5 stars Door Stop
This is the BIGGEST waste of money there is. I can eye a better level line than this thing. It doesn't give you a level line until you use a real level, to level it???? whats the point??? Save your money. This thing makes a better door stop than a laser level. ... Read more

Produced by a leader in the garden tools market, Fiskars's bypass pruner is perfect for precise clean cutting of green growth. The pruner features Fiskars's trademarked PowerGear design, which maximizes leverage for more pruning power for your effort. As you clasp the pruner, the outside handle actually rotates with the gears, an ingenious design with impressive results. The replaceable ultrahardened steel blade is designed to stay sharp longer than leading blades, and the handles are made of reinforced nylon engineered for strength and lightness. Designed with comfort in mind, the tool fits perfectly in the hand. With its 3/4-inch cutting capacity, this is definitely a professional quality pruner, but even weekend gardeners can benefit from its fantastic design. Two-year warranty. ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Worth the price
I do not really need mechanical advantage to crush things with my hands. My wife; however, is a size 2 petite and we got these for her so it would be possible for her to putter in the yard with some effect.Well, she can handle 1/4 inch stuff easily with this pruner and when necessary even thicker stuff, while I use the old $5 bypass pruner. However, when she goes into the house I grab for these and everything becomes much easier and faster.I am reluctant to return them to her when she comes out except she really can't cut anything with the cheepies and she demands these back. The biggest difference between these and others I have used is the handle rotates as you compress it so that the optimum angle is always maintained.I am also convinced the blade is made of superior metal due to edge retention.

4-0 out of 5 stars Great for small hands, light duty
Having read the reviews and being a gadget freak, I decided to get these.I figured the rotating lever would reduce the blister inducing rubbing my fingers experience when doing a lot of heavy pruning. And the power advantage would be a boon to my aging and no longer as strong hands.

Well, it does work as advertised; the finger abrasion is reduced and it requires less effort to cut a given branch with these compared to my trusty Felco pruners.BUT, two problems arose for me.First, due to the size of these pruners and the Powergear technology, the lever rotates my fingertips smack against my palm, and if I'm cutting a large branch with some serious squeezing, it does it hard enough to hurt!I do have fairly big hands, but I'm not Shaq.It is a serious annoyance for me.And second, it is not nearly as rugged as my Felco. It just isn't strong enough to cut larger woody branches that do fit between the blades and the Felco handles without strain. The cutting blade flexes and so the bypass cut doesn't happen and you have a partially cut branch with the pruners stuck in it.

I do like their precise feel for light to medium work, where I'm not squeezing hard enough to have either of the above problems. But I'd like to see Fiskars make a larger, heavier duty version of this technology. (I know they make a Powergear mini-lopper; I'd like to see a 20% bigger and heavier duty pruner)

Conclusion; if your hands aren't large and you don't intend to do heavy duty pruning, these are quite slick.

5-0 out of 5 stars Sharp, strong, and oh so comfortable!
When I read the description, I still couldn't imagine how the handle could "rotate."But when it arrived in the mail it was obvious.I hadn't thought of it but, when one squeezes such a tool, one's fingers roll over the handle. And on this pruner, the rounded handle rolls with the fingers. This clever idea not only makes it more comfortable to squeeze, but the gearing incorporated into the design also makes it easier on the muscles.

I gave the new pruner a tough initiation by trimming some low redwood branches, and even though a few were a tad larger than the rated 3/4" -the tool bit right through them all.The grip was so comfortable, it didn't even seem like work. ... Read more

Bosch's Compact Tough cordless drills are designed to provide professional power in a compact profile and perform tough jobs in tight spaces and close quarters without compromising durability. Employing a flexible ABS nylon blend, this tool can stand up to the roughest job site conditions. We like the ratcheting chuck that allows for quick, reliable one-handed bit changes and the soft rubber grip Bosch includes on all its cordless tools. For people who want the most power they can get in a small drill, this 14.4-volt model may be the best bet. It has the most torque of all Bosch's Compact Tough drills and weighs only 4.4 pounds. 1-0 out of 5 stars fire hazzard
I had one of these (j900) in my trunk which apparently bounced against the sidewall, knocked the leads loose, they arced together and started my trunk carpet on fire. The century mfg. co. won't return my calls, so I am trying to alert people to the potential disaster these products are.

3-0 out of 5 stars Only holds one bike, doesn't stand up straight.
1. The packaging was poor and the base was badly scratched when I received it.

2. I'm 6'2" and I have two tall bikes. The rack is too short for both of them. With the top bracket at the highest setting, the bottom bike won't fit below it.I paid a welder $30 to change the angle of the top bracket so that it goes up 45 degrees. Now there is room for the second bike. Now the rack costs $80.

3. The joints in the rack are wobbly, so my rack tilts to the right about 5 degrees.I think it's ugly.I'm going to screw the top of the rack into the wall to fix this. That kinda defeats the purpose of a "gravity" rack.

Now that I've got it fixed up, it does what it's supposed to.Kind of a pain but it works, and it's still pretty cheap at $80.

4-0 out of 5 stars It works and it's a deal
like other reviewers my box arrived a bit beat up, i was half expecting to find parts missing. unlike others i had no problem assembling it and it seems very sturdy. for the price you aren't going to find a better deal.

i've got way too many bikes in too small of an apartment. the lower half seems a bit useless (all my bikes are pretty big though). it's not tall enough to get the bottom bike off the floor so you can't store anything there. i'm thinking about removing the lower arms and just leaning a couple of bikes there. it's already getting my apartment into shape.

4-0 out of 5 stars Just what I wanted!
I've been wanting a bike rack like this for years. I've tried products that seemed similar, and they just didn't work for me. This one's exactly what I was looking for.

APPEARANCE
The rack arrived with no scratches. This was a surprise, given that two of the sections that make up the vertical post were loose in the manufacturer's box, and the box was a bit battered.

The rack itself looks great in my garage.

STABILITY
When positioned against (or near) a wall, the rack sways mildly when a bike is removed or replaced. The base is big enough and the overall design is such that removing the bottom bike (gently) doesn't seem to cause the whole thing to fall over--as long as the wall is there for backup. The manufacturer recommends anchoring the rack to the wall and includes hardware for this purpose.

ASSEMBLY
The central post is delivered in three sections: The base is the curved"T" that you can see in the picture on the Amazon site. The other two sections form the vertical tube.

These main sections fit very tightly together. As far as I'm concerned, this makes the whole thing more internally stable. To assemble the central post, I relied on a many squirts from my trusty can of WD-40, some wiggling, gravity, and patience. Without all that, I would've been stuck (and the sections would've been too).

The four arms that hold the two bikes attach into slots on either side of the vertical tube. I used a small block of wood to knock the arms in and out of the slots (I don't have a mallet, and it seemed like a hammer would dent/scratch the finish). Each bike is held by resting the top tube in cradles (at the end of each arm). The cradles easily rotate as needed to adapt to the angle of the top tube. Nice touch.

It definitely took some effort to put this rack together. However, I'm pleased with the results so far. It really frees up space! Taking it apart will be an interesting challenge some day.

Is it worth the price? Well... Even with the Amazon price, it seems a bit more expensive than other garage-quality bike racks. However, over the years I've spent more in total on other racks that didn't work out for me at all. This one is just what I wanted! ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Outstanding ladder to have available
I have this 2-story model and the 3-story model.I have already installed the mounting plate (optional).I had two different types of escape ladders and returned them both when I got this one. They cost more and were no where near the ease or quality.Don't listen to the first reviewer. This person must be refering to a different product. Key note:You don't have to install the mount.I am going to purchase another one of these for another room!

1-0 out of 5 stars Not a Portable Fire Escape Ladder
Anyone who thinks this is a portable ladder is wrong. It requires installation. Once you open it and try to replace it in the box see how excited you are about this product. If you want to feel a sense of safety try another type of ladder. A less expensive and light ladder is only a value if you can use it quickly in an emergency.

Editorial Review

A 4-cycle, 26cc variable speed engine powers this dynamo around your borders, trees, and against foundations. Ryobi’s eliminated the need to mix messy oil and gas with this unit, which runs on straight gas, saving you time and trouble. It’s fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly and runs quieter than its 2-stroke competition. Easy starts are assured, too, because of a primer bulb. The bump feed advances more line whenever you need it, and the SpeedSpool Line Replacement lets you put in a new line without taking the head apart--a great idea. In hand, it’s well-balanced, relatively light, and very comfortable, thanks to the D-shaped handle and its ergonomic soft grip. If it were only a trimmer, it would be a great purchase, but add to it the capability to attach a range of different heads, and you’ve got a highly versatile, multi-purpose yard tool. The Trimmer Plus attachments (sold separately) turn the trimmer into an edger, hedge trimmer, tree pruner, leaf blower/vac, garden cultivator, and snow thrower. The attachments connect in a second with a solid "click," and you’re off on a new task. It’s an ingenious system that will bring professional-type lawn tools to the average homeowner. Bravo, Ryobi!--Kris Jensen-Van Heste ... Read more

3-0 out of 5 stars Good for the price, but ONE BIG PROBLEM
I've had the trimmer, the tiller, edging and tree attachments for about 2 summers now. Overall, for the money, it is a good trimmer. The edger works decently, although I've only used it once. I use the tree trimmer each fall. I have used the tiller quite a bit as I have to prep one 70 sq. ft. veggie garden and about 200 sq. ft. of flower beds each year. I use it to trim every week or more, after each mowing of a 1/2 acre lawn.

The trimmer itself is good and runs nicely, its great not to have to mix gas and my wife likes it as its not as smoky and noisy. However, she wont use it because it is pretty heavy. I highly recommend getting a strap, and if I were to do this all over again, I'd get a straight shaft trimmer.

Now for the problem. My very first time out with the tiller, the cable inside became stuck in the shaft and I couldn't get the tiller attachment off until I resorted to 2 sets of vise grips and more than a little force. Turns out the cable from the attachments is just a spring type cable with a square end. this fits into a pot metal type coupler that is on the end of another spring wound cable from the motor. This is all at the break, roughly halfway on the shaft. What happened is that due to the torque of the tiller, the cable end "oblonged" instead of staying square inside the coupler. This bound the cable inside the coupler and they had to be forceably separated.

After this episode, the cable and the coupler never fit properly and every time I put the tiller or edger on, it had to be forced apart. This has also stretched the cable a little and fitting together is a dicey chore. I ended up having to buy ANOTHER trimmer and I just leave one in the tiller now. The other I use as a trimmer and with the lighter attachments. I only did this because I had the significant investment in the attachments and getting another trimmer was less expensive than getting rid of this and starting over. But I sure thought about it.

So you can see, WHAT'S THE SENSE of having these when I could/should have just bought separate units to begin with. I'd be very interested to find out if other owners have had the same trouble. Oh, by the way in case you are wondering, I carefully turned over the soil by shovel in all of these beds and never used the tiller for "fresh ground" tilling. I'm smarter than that and I borrow my brothers Troy-Built when I need to go to town from scratch. This tiller is only used to freshen a spring bed and mix in additives, and then only after a shovel turnover.

All in all, I'm pretty disappointed. I had a Ryobu saw years ago that I wasn't impressed with either. I get the sense that Ryobi doesn't spend much on engineering and quality, as in they skimp a bit on the level. I'd give this one star, but the trimmer is decent, the tiller works well now that its permanent, and the other attachments do the job. The idea was great, the execution needs a rethink, especially in coupler design.

1-0 out of 5 stars Arrived Broken
Can you beleive it? I ordered this thinking it would be a great addition to my outdoor assault weapons which I use to keep my yard from taking over the house. Things grow fast in the my gulch.

Well, I take it out of the big Amazon box. It's already busted! The lid for the air intake snaps onto the intake itself. So I figure, "OK, I guess I gotta call up Amazon." Well, this thing runs on gas, so I can't return it to Amazon. Instead they want
me to contact Ryobi. Well, that is turning out to be impossible.

The phone number given by the Ryobi site for their outdoor products doesn't get picked up. Instead, a recording tells you
thatdue to high volume, your call won't be answered. Have a nice day!

So I got it in the backside, for the first time, from good old Amazon. Thanks, Amazon. 'preciate it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Beware Trimmer ships with no oil in crankcase
This item ships with no oil in the crankcase. Their is a yellow tag on the gas tank to fill with gas only and add no oil. and then a statement to add oil to engine.
Their should be a RED tag telling you to add oil first before trying to start.
Some people may not know the diference between a 2 and 4 cycle engine.

Ryobi should have done a better job.
When I checked the oil dipstick I was supprised their was no oil. ... Read more

Editorial Review

The Pulse is the perfect multitool for anyone looking for improvements over the original without some of the expensive excesses of the Wave and Supertool. This model also keeps Leatherman one step ahead of the competition by including a serrated version of the excellent scissors found in its previous models. We especially appreciate the comfortable rounded handles, and we think the sharpening groove in the file is a great idea. This model saves on weight and cost by leaving out the serrated knife, the saw, and the extra flat screwdriver that come with the Wave, but we think Leatherman's made the right choice and kept the essential tools. After all, how many of us really find ourselves suddenly in need of a 3-inch saw? It happens--but probably not often enough to warrant the extra heft in our pockets.

The Pulse keeps Leatherman's excellent pliers and wire cutters, the improved scissors, the diamond-coated file, the sharpening groove, three flat screwdrivers, one Phillips screwdriver, and the can/bottle opener. It is compatible with Leatherman's tool adapter. It has all-locking blades with innovative side latches for easy unlocking. We think it strikes the right balance between low price and high functionality. --Brian Trinen ... Read more

5-0 out of 5 stars Excellent tool; very handy for a woman!
The Pulse is an awesome tool, for a man OR for a woman.I use mine almost daily -- whether I need a knife to cut something, or some scissors when I'm away from home, or a screwdriver, it's all right there.I can't speak for the advantages/disadvantages for getting a Pulse vs. another Leatherman product, but I can say that this tool has been incredibly helpful to me, and is easy to use.The only difficult part is that the locking/unlocking mechanism is a little difficult at times, but I'd much prefer that to it not working correctly.

And, uh, watch out -- the knife blade is very sharp!!!

4-0 out of 5 stars Pulse vs Wave
I have both Pulse and Wave. I bought the Wave after Pulse since the Pulse got me in love with Leatherman. In the end, I think the Wave is better by a margin, especially if you use the knives frequently. It is an enjoyment to use either one.

5-0 out of 5 stars Updated PST, great for fisherman.
This Leatherman tool proves that they listen to their customers. It has all locking blades like the Super tool, the sizzors and diamond file of the PST2. It's no bigger than the original Leatherman. What more could you want?

It's the perfect fisherman's Leatherman. Quick draw pliers, with the rounded edged butterfly handles for releasing hooked fish, a hook sharpening grove in the file, sizzors for trimming excess line. The small screw driver for your reel. An easy thumb control for the locking mechanism. Works with the tool adaptor you already own.

If you were thinking about getting the original Leatherman, or the PST2, or the Side Clip, spend the extra bucks and get this one. You'll be glad you did. If you are considering the larger Super Tool, ask yourself how large a piece of wood can you cut with a 3" blade? Do you really want to clean sawdust out of your Leatherman? vs buying a folding saw. Do you really need a larger set of pliers? If you need one handed blade opening with pliers, then the WAVE is the way to go, otherwise this is the Leatherman of the 2000's. ... Read more

What more can you ask for? MailGuard's security mailbox can't be vandalized, crushed, dented, scraped, scratched, or smashed, and that's not even its best feature. It also holds a ton of mail securely and can only be accessed with your key, though the letter carrier doesn't need one to deliver your mail. It's an ingenious design that offers some 2,000 cubic inches of storage, so when you're away for two weeks, your neighbor won't have to trot over to pick up your mail, and would-be burglars can't tell what's in it. Because it's made of a super-strong polyethylene plastic, you'll never have to paint it, sand it, rustproof it, or repair it. 5-0 out of 5 stars The Perfect Mailbox - We Feel Very Secure
We are convinced that my husband's identity theft problem was a result of someone taking bills and other mail from our mailbox and using the information. We were so upset by the incident that we were going to get a post office box. Then we found this mailbox, bought it, and are completely satisfied. We never worry about our mail anymore - even when we're on vacation. We have recommended Mailguard to all our friends and neighbors.

2-0 out of 5 stars Illusion of Safety
The bolt seems adequate to me, the problem is the hinge mechanism is a joke; I had to pop it into place by hand.A thief could pop this open in 1/2 second.Ironically, the mail compartment is hard to open normally, I will probably need a pry bar just to get my mail. They also only provided 3 out of 4 mounting screws. The flag mounting design is also poor, although I wont ever use it so I don't care.

Update: while attempting to sand down the door so that it would be openable, it fell onto the floor. The top mail slot broke off, and is now unusable; the bottom ("secure") mail door popped off its hinges. This thing is worthless. ... Read more

4-0 out of 5 stars Better Than Expected
After moving to a city home, we found our gas tiller to be too big and awkward for most jobs.In searching the internet I came across the electric Garden Wizard but almost no user reports. Finally, when Amazon offered the tiller for under $200 with free shipping we decided to take a chance.

I am happy to report that we're extremely pleased with the product. It digs in agressivly, does an excellent job of preparing the soil for planting and it's easy to handle.Fears that it's light weight wouldn't let it till effectivly were unfounded.I was a bit concerned that it lacked a stake to keep it from surging forward but it's actually easy to hold. Our neighbor has a gas powered Honda of similar size and the Wizard works as well or better without the hassle and noise of gasoline. Can't speak for it's long term reliability but so far we're extremely pleased.

Obviously it's not for heavy tilling or sod breaking but for an existing small garden and flower beds, it's perfect.

5-0 out of 5 stars Performed flawlessly
This is my first experience with a tiller, and I needed to till my backyard to prepare for laying sod. I have compacted clay soil about 4 inches below my current topsoil. I did my best to rake and clear out rocks and roots from nearby trees before using this tiller. This tiller is ready to go right out of the box without any assembly. I already purchased an outdoor rated 16 guage ext. cord just for this, so, I immediately spread mulch on top of the existing soil and started tilling. I was very impressed with the power and I noticed while tilling it was kicking out a lot of rocks deap inside the soil and big clay clods. This tiller, also got caught on a heavy root that made a big noise and snapped the root but, once again didn't seem to bother the tiller. After doing a first run I again cleared the rocks that I could see, because I was worried about breaking a tine or something. But, this tiller again did not seem to be bother with the rocks that were still hidden within the soil and it just kicked them out. It is an effort to control once it hits the compacted clay soil, but with arm power of holding/pulling back and forward it ate the clay soil up without a strain on power. So, for my first experience with a tiller and a flawless day of use, I give this 5 stars.

5-0 out of 5 stars Great tiller - with proper understanding
A note of caution on the tiller: it has two components which I've discovered I don't like. The first is a plastic sprocket gear that transfers power from the motor to the driveline and tines.Guess what happens when the little Garden Wizard gets tangled up in a tree root... yes, it completely strips the teeth out of the plastic gear.(Here you can correctly assume it's very cheap to mold a plastic gear instead of machine a metal one.)Second, the thing that's supposed to help eliminate the gear stripping problem is that Remington has a built-in circuit breaker right on the trigger housing."How convenient", one might think at first, except that the breaker is made in Indonesia under questionable quality control and that the breaker is only rated at 7 amps. The tiller has a 12 amp motor. Why bother advertising that it has such a great feature like a 12 amp motor when the ciruit breaker shuts it off at less than a 60% load?

If you plan to use this product in already tilled and established planting beds, I would say that it's not a bad machine and you'll probably never have a problem with it.If you are trying to break established sod - be forewarned that tree roots or rocks will most likely cause you an instant breakdown. ... 2-0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for!
For the price you are paying, this toolset is a bargain. However the tools themselves and the contruction of the metal box leave little to be desired. My initial impression of the product was satisfactory until I tried to take the tools out its molded plastic holder. The molds were made a little too smallthat when I succeeded pulling any of the tools out, the plastic mold was deformed visibly. Also when the socket wrench was a little tight fitting and when I attempted to pull socket out itended up bending a metal washer inside the rotating portion ofwrench.Bottom line is this. For the price you're paying, you will get exactly what you pay for.Luckily comes with a lifetime warranty so if you break something you can get it replaced. If you're a penny pincher then this maybe a tool set for you but if you're looking for a high quality tool set I would recommend you go with a brand name (Craftman, Stanley, etc.)

4-0 out of 5 stars Pretty good.
I like the tool set and all the items that came with it. I have only one complaint, I've only had it for about two weeks and one of the clips on the front side of the box has broken through the housing of the down bracing lock showing poor manufacturing. I'm not picky about tools but I think anyone thinking about buying this item should know about it.

5-0 out of 5 stars Perfect car toolbox
I ordered this because we needed one for the car.It doesn't have a hammer, but throw in a small one of yours and it's perfect. There is also enough room to add other tools you might feel you need. The size is compact, and it fits almost anywhere. The tools are just enough to carry along.Best of all the drawer won't open unless the lid of the box is up.That's a handy feature for transporting from one place to another. It has come in handy twice already, and we've only had it for a for a few weeks.Definitely a best buy for the price. ... Read more

Wanted to store my handgun in a secure location with quick access and this offered everything I've been looking for. The one I received was of high quality and works very well and is so cool when it opens.I'm telling everyone I know that keeps a handgun in their house.

1-0 out of 5 stars "safe" or a 7.5 pound alluminum / plastic overpriced box?
I bought this to keep my hand gun in so my kids would stay out.
It did just that. Locked EVERYONE out of the unit. Scanner is very sensitive to use. I would not exactly call it a safe weighing in at a big 7.5 lbs. I would suggest to keep looking. There are much better "SAFES" avail in the same price range.

2-0 out of 5 stars Quality issues?
I am sorely disappointed. The first safe I purchased did not work with brand new batteries.I returned the safe to the store where I purchased it to get an exchange (one hour drive each way). The second safe powered up with the new batteries but the keys that were provided did not work - they were the correct keys but the lock was broken and would not open the safe. You need to open the safe to program the fingerprints.I returned the safe for a full refund!I believe if you spend a few hundred dollars for a safe it should work the first time every time. 5-0 out of 5 stars Great for upkeep between fills!
I have acrylics that I have filled every 2-3 weeks. The one thing that always bugged me was when the natural nail underneath the tip began to collect dirt.At first, I asked my husband to bust out his Dremel tool from the garage so I could drill out the nail.He was worried that the high-speed would burn my fingertips (Dremel tools operate at very high speeds). After he brought it out it was obvious it wouldn't work - the thing was heavy and DIRTY.So I gave up on that idea. But because my nails were bugging me, I ended up using one of his Dremel tool attachments and scraping it out.

So I was DELIGHTED to find this tool.Being battery-operated, with only Low and High speeds, you won't be burned by the ultra high speeds of a usual Dremel tool. Also, it's lightweight so you can grip it like a pencil and maneuver it.It comes with the perfect little attachment for cleaning out under the nail and also with buffers to keep up the shine. My nail lady was impressed to see how good my nails looked after 3 weeks.

I was apprehensive of the AA batteries that go in it.I expected it to start flagging after 2 minutes of use.But so far it hasn't been a problem and I've used it on High speed several times and it's still going strong.Dremel could probably improve the product by putting in some sort of higher-tech battery that can be recharged (like the kind they put in razors?)

Aside from finally getting the under-nail relief, I think what I like best of all is that this is MINE.I don't have to rummage in the garage or through tool boxes for the bigger Dremel tool. This one is pretty (purple color) and clean and sits well in my drawer. The only thing I think I wish it came with was some sort of case to keep it and the teeny-tiny attchments in.

5-0 out of 5 stars works great!!!
I bought this for the wife to use on her nail care patients. I have used it myself and it works great!!. I use it for filing my nails and grinding down the thick skin on my hands and feet. Im getting ready to buy one for myself and 3 more as Christmas gifts.

4-0 out of 5 stars I've done it.
I've actually used it on my natural nails, whether it says you can or not. I use it on low speed with a large stone bit (purchased seperately from Dremel -they have many bits available for their rotary tools).Keep in mind though that I'm a guy and I bite my nails(bad habit I know), but the tool helps me straighten them out. ...
