Good but not perfect
I used super saver shipping and it took about 3 weeks to get it. When it finally arrived, it was packaged well and after a charge fired right up.

I need to clip the hedges about 3 times a summer.
So far I've trimmed about 25 bushes and it works as well as the old electric one it replaced. Its light and so far the battery has held a charge well. I really like not having to use the extenstion cord which my Dad cut with the previous corded trimmer.

A couple complaints are that my right hand gets a cramp after about 20 minutes as it tends to continually squeeze the on/off switch probably much harder than necessary. I also notice that the plastic case seems to separate a bit when I am moving through heavy work. I'm sure there are better/study units out there but for the occasional work I do, this fits the bill. Good value for the money
I wanted a reconditioned tool because the cost was cheaper than a brand new one. Considering I do yardwork only 1-2 times per month, I didn't need a "really good" one.

This B&D trimmer did a good job on branches up to 3/8" thick. Anything thicker will result in "tearing" instead of cutting.

It's fairly loud and the ergonomics are not that great. However, for the price I paid here on Amazon, it is a good deal.

The best!
If you are looking for a trimmer that can deal with shrubs and bushes in the heat, or extended running time, this is it! The price is appropriate, and the quality that you will get from it is outstanding!

Last year I bought a lawn mower; my wife was so satisfied with this purchase from Amazon, that this was the first place she looked when shopping for a badly needed hedge trimmer.

Suffice to say, we were not disappointed. The purchase arrived at our home from the Amazon.com Tool Crib in North Dakota in a timely manner via UPS; the hedge trimmer was already assembled, in mint condition (for a reconditioned item), and it came with a new purchase warranty, but not at a new-purchase price.

It is an excellent trimmer; sturdy, lightweight and easily manuverable. My 100lb. wife took a turn playing with it and was able to wield this baby in a manner that make a fan of the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" movies proud!

For the price, I would highly recommend this product, if you are in the market for a good, reliable, sturdy and easy-to-use hedge trimmer.

Never bin a big fan of gloves, but
These glove have changed my mind.Very good dexterity.I am no longer a full time tradesman, and I can't afford to have my hands in the shape they were in when I was in the field.I do more sales then work in the field, and I have developed "office hands".These gloves have saved me more than once when I have to go back in the field.I recently re-shingled my house and wore the gloves from start to finish.No calluses, no tar under the nails, and best of all I had skin on my finger tips at the end of the job.The gloves did take a beating, and I don't think they would make it thru another 15 square, but they fared much better than a pair of brown jerseys would have.A litte tattered and a blown seam or two, but the finger tips stayed on and no holes.They are a little pricey and if they were priced at around $12 to $14, I'd feel that they would be more in line with what I like to spend, but my hands are glad I made the investment.Somebody who uses them everyday will be going thru too many pairs in a year and at the price they are now you would be spend a good bit of your hard earned cash. But price them at $12 bucks and suppliers would not be able to keep'em in stock.

IronClad for Years Now
I have had these gloves for at least 4 or 5 years.They have held up great with medium use.I will use these gloves because they are tough and not bulky at all.

An old standard that keeps on working.An essential !!
I've been using these for years in the satellite tv, alarm, and the electrical industry.The 18" length is just ideal for drilling from outer walls into the interior, through top and bottom wall plate studs into walls.These are fast drilling and long lasting.I have them in 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 and 1/2" diameters.The 5/8's will be ideal for standard sheathed cable.

Fantastic, but the newer MForce is Better
This drill is the perfect tradeoff between weight and power.The 18Vs are just too heavy for long use.This drill will easily snap the heads of screws if you don't pay attention to the clutch setting.I have never felt that this didn't have enough power, and have often wished for a little lighter.But, unfortunately, you don't save much weight with the lower voltage drills.I change the chuck on mine to a 1/2" which leads me to the title.The newer MForce is one of the only 12V drills on the market to come with a 1/2" chuck standard (not all versions). ... Great, but a bit short
These are nice tie-downs (mine came in blue), but, for my Explorer Sprot Trac, if the load extends at at above the bed - they are just too short. I had a rubbermaid trash can standing up, and the strap barely made. If length is not a concern, go for it. For outside tie-downs on a full size pick up - I am not sure they will cut it.

Great Product
These tie downs are great, i bought them for my boat, it wieghs about 900 pounds, I cant belive the strength, ive went through several different 'high strength' nylon cords and locks downs to secure my new boat, and they all snap first day, ive had these and they work great, no sign of weakness yet and the boat has been put in and out of the water a bunch of times, and they still look good as new, when towing ive replaced the metal chains under the truck for these light wieght but extremly tough ties, this product is well worth the money! ... Dewalt vs. Bosch
First I bought here on ToolCrib the Bosch 3727DEVS 6" and Bosch 3725DEVS 5" random orbital sanders and loved them. They are both good tools. I manufacture R/C model sailboats out of fiberglass and I have used them every day for a year now and they are excellent. So.. when DeWalt ran their special last month for $250.00+ purchase I need to "fill out" my order and I picked up a RECONDITIONED DW423KR 5".

I did not expect it to be as good as the Bosch...WHAT A SURPRISE I received! It is smaller and lighter than the Bosch sanders, and does not have the added handle they have which means it can get into tighter areas... but then does not have the pure power of being able to manhandle it because of the missing handles. ok,... it is as smoooooth as the Bosch 6" which has the extra ballbearing set the Bosch 5" does not. Power? The DeWalt is ever bit the heavy duty tool they say it is packed into that little frame and it came with it's own case/box which is always a plus with me.

The DW423KR uses the same hook/loop paper you use on your other 5" sanders and has the same 8 hole dust removal pattern. A small shopvac will take the dust right off the project surface when you mount it to the dust exhaust.

The only thing I can knock the DW423KR on is that while it is a variable speed tool... it is basically variable between medium and high... there is not much if any range in a low or slow speed.... so you have to back off your grit instead of just backing the speed way down. Other than that.. it is almost a magic wand that makes the errors go away.

Works great for me!
Having read others reviews and with some skepticism, I ordered this washer and received it a couple of weeks ago.Maybe I was just lucky?Shipping was quick and the unit was intact.I've got about 8 hours of mostly continuous use out of it so far...it has worked exactly as I would expect it to.Stripped a cedar deck and a 10 year old, redwood,Rainbow playsystems swingset with ease!They both look like new, ready for a new coat of stain.This unit works great for cleaning vinyl siding and windows.Make sure you fan the spray though or you'll poke holes right through the siding!I have nothing but good things to say about this product.......hope I feel the same in a couple of years!I'll come back and give it 5 stars if it holds up throughout use this summer.

This Pressure Washer is a DOG!
I purchased this pressure washer and was very disappointed. I put alot of faith in the PM magazine review.
This pressure washer would have trouble blasting the icing off a cake!It's way underpowered.Given it's size and weight I can only assume that instead of a powerful pump there might just be bricks inside the case.
I bought the Karcher M397, it's smaller, less money, but it puts out more power. STAY AWAY FROM THE AR EXTREME.You will be Extremely disappointed.

Arrived busted
Was shipped quickly.Box had no damaged but when I took the unit out the hard plastic case was clearly damaged.It was cracked and pieces were laying in the box.The plastic piece used to wrap the cord around was broken off and the section where you attached the handle looked like somebody hit it with a big hammer and knocked a hole it it.Had to have been done at the factory.Terrible quality control.Amazon accepted the return. ... Although there are other more optimized tools for oil changes, you can use this, with some practice, to install and remove oil filters as well (without damaging them). I use it for odd maintainance on farm equipment, filter changes included. It is available in different sizes. Best In Its Class
Plenty of power- doesn't bog down. Long lived ....... in shops I've worked in PC was the sander of choice.Belt tracks very well. The variable speed is handy and is a separate wheel control as it should be. At this price and the full warranty it's a no brainer. You could pay more and get a lot less sander.

Need to remove alot of stock?This sander is the best.
After trying several belt sanders on the market, I was extremely happy to come across this one.For starters, it never bogs down. No matter how much pressure is put on the platen or how long it runs, the motor never bogs.That was the main problem with other belt sanders I have used.

The sander also has some heft to it.It is not a light weight machine.This is good because it doesn't need a lot of extra force to remove a lot of stock, and the weight helps to keep it on track.If weight is a concern for you, you need to look elsewhere.Although the "elsewhere" sanders won't work as well!

This sander is tough.I was sanding a faceframe one day when my partner accidentally unplugged the machine.I set the machine down (this part is embarrassing) forgetting to turn the trigger off.When I plugged it back in, it pulled itself across the bench and onto the floor before I realized what was happening.It bounced a couple of times and continued across the floor before pulling the plug from the outlet.It purrs like a lion to this day.There has been other times when it has been dropped or stepped on and has never had any problems.

The only drawback, and the reason I gave it only 4 stars, is the dust bag.It gets in the way sometimes when working on other than horizontal surfaces.It can be swung around, though, to the left or right out of the way.Also, the dust bag forms a rub hole, right at the top where the aluminum tube ends inside the bag.I've sealed it with clear silicone which works fine. ... Tough, Tough, TOUGH Blades!
You can eventually kill a Lenox blade, but first you have to: demolish walls, cut pipes, plunge cut plywood, saw the fender off your truck, and etc.I have used all the major brands; Milwaukee, B&D, Makita, Dewalt,but none of them keep their teeth as long as Lenox.After a day of heavyuse, these blades have more teeth than the crowd at a barroom brawl!Theyreally have their metallurgy perfected.I have used these for over twentyyears and nothing can compare.The only time I use other brands is when Irun out of Lenox and nothing else is available.You won't be disappointed. ...
