Horrible Engineering, Design, and Execution
What a complete waste of money.This is a poorly designed clamping miter gauge, with enough play in each of the assembled parts to render it all but useless.It is sensitive to any contact with anything to the point of being unusable.The parts are very low quality, they don't fit together well, and actually using the clamp (its salient feature) causes the miter angle to change by as much as three degrees.

Save your money.The only thing worthwhile about this utter piece of garbage is the bar that goes in the miter slot on your table saw.That can be salvaged and attached to a jig.

miter guage review
This is probably one of the poorest made table saw accessory I have ever seen.I purchased it to replace the gauge that came with my craftsman saw only to find that it was worse.It is cheaply made, fits together poorly and will not hold an angle. (bump it, and the slop in the pivot allows it to move about 3 degrees).The only redeeming feature is the hold down, which is a good idea, but it doesn't work.The adjuster slips under moderate pressure and will allow the work to come loose or shift.If you're a SWMBO buying one for your spouse, just make sure you insure the heck out of him first! ... The best I've ever worn.Could be better, though
As a theatre technician, I often have to work with hot lighting equipmentwood, rope, and just about any other construction substance you could think of.I bought the Ironclad Wrenchworx gloves on the recomendation of a friend, and I'm very glad I have.These gloves have saved me from numerous cuts and burns in the month since I bought them.The double layered palm enables me to handle even the hottest lighting fixtures for limited times, and the terry cloth upper to the thumb is a life-saver when focusing these instruments.I've worn them for hours without removing them, all because of the spandex upper.They have a natural hand shape that makes them comfortable to wear and easy to work in.
I've only got two complaints.First, the double stitching doesn't double back on itself, like most clothing stitching does, so they've started to fray a bit in a couple of places.Second, I was unable to find a sizing guide anywhere on the web, so I ordered a size medium based on my own glove size.When they arrived, they were just a bit large for me, and had I to do it again, I would get a small this time around.

Fast but has problems
I've owned this sander for several years. The dust collection tube worked at first but then wouldn't stay on. Now the off/on switch broke. Too bad. This is a fast, smooth sander with problems.

Fine Little Sander
Received my reconditioned sander the other day and used it immediatly out of the box (very fast shipping!).It fit my palm perfect, floats over the wood like a charm and is fun to sand with.The most annoying thing is that the dust collector pops off for no apparent reason every 1-2 minutes and spreads a very fine powder all over the place....very messy to say the least!I attribute this to it being used and/or weak rubber O-rings which hold it in place.Highly recommend this and most PC products! ... I would give it six stars if I could!
I have owned this drill for many years and it still works like new. In the age of 18v and greater cordless power, people are forgetting what a great drill this is - at about half the weight of its big brothers. Although I am not a contractor using my drill all day every day, it has seen hard use. I have used it exclusively to renovate two houses (including drywall hanging), build a 24x45 pole barn, and countless woodworking and home repair projects. If this drill ever dies I will buy the exact same product to replace it. I can't think of a better testimonial than that.

Great Drill!!
This drill, although not the most powerful, has a great power to weight ratio. The batteries charge last a reasonable amount of time, and the balance is good. The 18V drills are nice, but a bit on the heavy side for all day use.

Personally I find this drill the best for all around use.

I bought this drill about a year ago, & have really enjoyed it's compact POWER.I have put it to some really tough assignments & it has never let me down. After it was stolen, I bought another 9.6 volt product on sale (Black & Decker Firestorm CO231).While it is a good drill for screwdriving, it lacks power to drill very well.There is a big difference in the way the drills feel, with the DeWalt drill having the most substancial feel. Both drills have adjustable clutches to prevent overtightening of screws.And both have batteries that recharge in a few hours. However, after using both drills for a while now, I will have another DeWalt DW926K-2R drill in my tool box again very soon! ... Read more

Not reconditioned, just broken
I purchased this set and found it to be returns that were not fixed.I have purchaced reconditioned porter cable tools before with no problems.Each component of this Dewalt set had a problem.The drill had a slipping clutch, one battery had a loose clip that would not stay in the tool, the saw clearly had a problem in the gears from the sound.

Selling this item as "reconditioned" is false advertising.

Ships with weak batteries.
Good set but I have had problems with the batteries that are shipping with these sets.The last 4 DeWalt reconditioned cordless tool sets I have purchased were shipped with batteries dated 2001 and most of those batteries have poor run time and low power.Compared to brand new batteries the difference is noticable.The 1-year warranty will get you a new battery if you find a service center that will replace them without a hassle.My service center does replace them, but they complain about it and I every time I take one in I am afraid they will refuse.For the price difference ($70) I recommend the new set which should come with batteries made in 2003. ...
